Edmunds POV

"Here goes nothing." I huffed to Emmy, waving my hand enough to catch Reds eye, subtly signaling her to follow us.

"What's happening?" She asked as we exited the room. She followed closely behind us as we made our way wordlessly down the hall and put the front entrance.

Emmy plopped down on one of the bottom stone steps, patting the area beside her. Red glanced confusedly towards me before slowly taking a seat.

"How have you been adjusting?" Emmy smiled to her gently.

"Fine." Red replied tightly.

"Good. No problems?"

"None."

Emmy nodded.

"Why are you asking me these questions?"

Emmy frowned convincingly. "Are we not allowed to ask questions?" I felt a great swell of pride at Emmys brilliant attempt at questioning someone.

"This feels like an interrogation." Emmy shook her head as if she's were confused. "Look, if there's something you want to ask me, just ask." She demanded harshly.

"We brought back new Allie a little while ago." I stepped closer, towering over her a bit. "A sorcerer he wanted our help finding had mysteriously disappeared with a white feather left left in his place. Now, a white feather, that could be from any number of birds, but we happen to think it's from a special bird. One the White Witch likes to use. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you?"

An unknown emotion flashed in her eyes for less than second before she straightened her back. "Not a thing."

I hummed, kneeling down so I was a bit higher than eye level with her. "I think you're lying."

"I've been her the whole time."

"Have you?" I shot back.

"Yes." She seethed. "Someone would've seen me had I tried to leave. Ask anyone."

"Oh we will." I replied, rising back up and nodding my head at Emmy. She rose to her feet as well, following me back inside the castle, and leaving the second Allie to her thoughts.
