~Edmunds POV~

The air hung thickly around us, making us all breath a bit harder than normal. I could tell by the looks on everyone's faces that we were all trying our best to act normal. The allies sat together a few rooms down, the sound of their voices as they talked lowly filled the halls, echoing off of the high ceilings. They weren't close enough to us to make out what they were saying, but they were close enough to make us lower our voices.

"What do we do?" Lucy asked.

"Well we can't just barge in their asking a million questions, and accusing  everyone of being the spy. That would just alert the real traitor." Caspian replied, glancing the Peter for a plan.

"Do we even have any ideas as to who the traitor might be?"Susan glanced around.

No one said anything,  it the silence got to me along with Caspians nervous glance in my direction, causing me to blurt out before I could stop myself. "It wasn't me."

"No one thinks it was." Peter spoke quietly to me, responding immediately.

I felt Emmy rub my arm lightly, leaning into me a bit. "We could split up, speak to them one by one." Maggie suggested.

"That's not a bad idea." Peter smiled proudly at his wife. "We must make sure that they don't speak in the mean time."

"Agreed." Caspian nodded.

"Brilliant. Maggie and I will speak to Ion. Caspian and Susan, you'll take Dorothy and Nesarose. Edmund and Emmy, take Red. Lucy, you'll wait with Iago, and make sure-"

"They don't speak. I understand." She smiled.

"What about Nesarose? Why don't split up her and Dorothy?" Emmy asked.

"I doubt Dorothy would let that happen without putting up a fight. We need to make this as quick and as subtle as possible." I replied, nodding to Peter as I answered Emmys question.

"Any questions?" Peter asked, pausing momentarily before nodding once. "Good luck all."
