~Maggie POV~

"Why aren't they back yet?" I asked, rubbing my fingers against my temple as Peter paced back and forth.

"I'm sure they're fine. You saw how long it took us to get Nesarose." He turned to face me, walking over slowly and joining me on the steps below the thrones. Taking my hand in his, he lifted it to his lips, placing a kiss on my palm. "Don't worry." He whispered.

"I can't help it." I whispered back, leaning into him. He kissed my forehead causing me to smile into his chest. "I love you."

"I-"

His response got cut off due to the doors flying open and the youngest Pevensie dashing towards us. "They're back!"

"Ed!" Peter exclaimed as we entered the hall. "Are you guys alright?"

"What happened?" Susan asked as her and Caspian entered from the opposite side of the hall.

"This is Iago." Emmy smiled lightly, motioning to the man on her left who wore a troubled expression.

"I take it all is well." Caspian nodded to them.

"Not exactly." Edmund spoke.

Before anyone could question anything Iago spoke up. "I agreed to come back with them if they agreed to help me take back something from a sorcerer whom I encountered years ago. We made our way to his camp sight and were met with nothing more than a white feather."

"What does that mean?" Lucy frowned.

"The ends are singed." I leaned forward to get a better view as I pointed out what caught my eye.

"Maybe it's just a feather." Susan shrugged.

"Long ago," We all turned as Aslan spoke up from behind us. "The white witch used a certain hybrid to deliver messages to her enemies."

"Let me guess, it was white." Emmy sighed.

"Wait a minute," Caspian shook his head. "That's just like what Glinda did to Fiyero."

"Wait, are we implying that the white witch and her sister are building their own army of allies?" Peter asked, turning to Aslan.

"It would make perfect sense." He replied simply.

"How would they know? The only way they would know where we were going is if they saw the list." Susan spoke.

"Who has it now?" Caspian asked.

All of our eyes landed on Edmund as he glanced around nervously, placing a hand on his pocket. "You've all been with me the whole time!"

"No one thinks it was you." Peter spoke quickly. "It had to have been someone who's close enough to us that they would have access, yet distant enough that they could report back and we would have no idea."

"The allies." Lucy whispered.

"What does this mean?" Emmy leaned in closer to us.

Peter sighed, wrapping an arm around me. "We have a traitor amongst us."
