I awoke to John laughing Spongebob Squarepants that was playing on the small TV above my bed, which he had been sleeping. He was laughing at something Patrick had said. The room was bright and it burnt my eyes so I closed them quickly and groaned. The steady rise and fall of Lenny’s chest indicated that he was still asleep. I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed them. I let out a yawn and looked up at my beautiful boyfriend’s adorable sleeping face and smiled.
“Hey Sum, get your ass over here for some Spongebob,” John said, not taking his eyes of the screen. I chuckled and sat up as slowly as I could, trying to not wake up Lenny in the process,
“Why don’t you get your ass of my bed and help me?” I replied to him in a whisper. I swung my legs over the edge of the bed, waiting for John to come and get me. He sighed and took the couple of step between our beds and picked me up bridal style. I snaked my arms around his neck and he took me back to my assigned bed. He placed me on the far side of the bed before hoping in himself.
We were watching an episode where Patrick’s parents come to his house to stay and he was worried because they always thought Patrick was dumb. Spongebob came up with a plan for Spongebob to act really stupid to make Patrick look smart.
“You can be Patrick and I’ll be Spongebob,” John suggested, his arm around my shoulder like Lenny had last night.
“I don’t think so, well I suppose you can be the dumb Spongebob and I can be… Sandy,” I laughed, turning my head to look at John,
“I’m not that dumb,” He defended himself, looking down at me.
“Are you sure?” I asked, smiling innocently and poking him in the side.
He was quite ticklish there so he grabbed my wrist and held it tightly, “I’m sure,” He smiled and pushed my arm away.
I looked back at the TV screen when Patrick figured out that they weren’t actually his parents that were in his house and is actual parents were at Squidward’s house. I laughed, “You are definitely Patrick,” I giggled and I heard Lenny groan.
I looked over at him and smiled, “Rise and shine beautiful,” I giggled and layback down to watch the next episode of Spongebob Squarepants, “How did you sleep?” I asked him, not taking my eyes off of the screen playing the starting song of Spongebob.
“Not too bad, after you fell asleep, I couldn’t sleep until almost three hours later,” He replied, his voice still thick with sleep. That reminded me,
“Did you ask me something last night before a fell asleep?” I asked wanting to know if my mind was playing tricks on me or not,
“Um…” He seemed to freeze for a second before looking over at me and I looked at him. Our eyes locked and I couldn’t look away, “Yes I did,” He answered, quite nervous, “Do you remember what I asked you?” He asked, looking into my eyes hopefully,
“Yes I did,” I smiled at him, “And the answer’s yes,” He beamed at me and started to laugh,
“If I could move right now, you know I would be hugging you till you couldn’t breathe,” He suggested, and we both turned, looking at John. He sighed before getting off the bed to pick me up and take me over to Lenny’s bed.
He put me on Lenny’s bed and I quickly hugged Lenny so tight I’d be surprised if he couldn’t breathe, but then again I’m not that strong, “I love you so much,” I said into his chest,
“I love you more,” He replied, kissing the top of my head, which rested on his chest. I looked up into his eyes and saw all I’ll ever need in life, someone who I’ll be happy to have children and grow old with. We beamed at each other before a crashed my lips to his.
