POV : RACHEL

I entered the classroom and searched for an empty seat. As I glanced around, my vision focused on a familiar blonde guy sulking with his head kept on his table.
I sat down on the table next to him and turned to face him.

"Shane baby, why are you upset? ", I fake purred, dragging a finger across his biceps.

He looked up, rejoiced for a moment but it changed soon when he looked at me. He narrowed his eyes.

"Not funny Rachel."

"Why, did you think it was one of your cronies?"

"That would have been so much better."

"I'm taking offence here Shaney boy.", I sang.

"Talk to the hand Rach.", he sang back in a chirpy girly voice, putting his palm on my face so that my whole face is covered.

"It's good to finally see you in your comfort zone."

"Go away."

I chuckled lightly and made my way to the back. Not even a minute later my previous seat was occupied by none other than Eva.

Since Shane had put his head on the table he could see the legs of the person sitting next to him. Knowing him, he would probably be smirking now.
As his eyes slowly made their way to the person's face, his smirk started faltering.

Now Eva, ladies and gentlemen is one of Shane's biggest cronies. Evangela
George( God, even her surname matches Regina's) was the daughter of one of the most influential politicians of our state. Needless to say, Prada was her one true love.
Excluding Shane of course.

Since third grade, she had been a devoted follower of Shane. It all started when we were in first grade.

All of us were standing in a queue waiting for our turn for the swing.
Now Eva had always been competitive, so when a boy, Micheal, challenged her on who could swing the highest, she couldn't back down.

It was going well for her and she was almost going to win when her frock shifted underneath her, making her lose her position on the swing and sent her flying.

Luckily for her, she landed on a guy who had bend down to tie his shoelaces. Unluckily for him, he got squashed under her weight and sprained his ankle.

And guess who the guy was. None other than Shane Dawson.

After that incident Eva always pictured him as her night in shining armour and sadly for him, that wasn't a theory she was going to forget soon.

Coming back to present.

He grimaced slightly and turned around searching for an empty seat. When his eyes fell on the one beside me, he looked at me pleadingly.

I grinned back evilly and put my legs on the seat.

He looked at me with disdain as I wiggled my eyebrows at him.

The last bell rang as Mr. Henry entered the classroom and started the roll call. I was almost drowsing when I heard gasps.

There stood a 6 ft tall Greek God leaning against the doorframe. His hair looked messy yet perfect. With those chiseled cheekbones and jawline and those sharp green eyes, he looked swoon worthy.
An inaudible sigh left my lips.

"Ah. You must be the new kid.", said Mr. Henry finally noticing his presence.

"Introduce yourself to the class.", he continued.

The guy looked uncomfortable at first but a smirk slowly made its way to his face.

"I'm Damon Cavanaugh. I have recently transfered from London.", he pauses. "And I'm legal."

At this point Shane, being the idiot he is, starts whistling. The whole class started laughing at his antics. Damon looked at him and flashed a cheeky grin, his dimples showing through.

"I'll see you in detention later Mr. Dawson and Mr. Cavanaugh, please find a seat for yourself."

It dawned on me that there was only one seat empty. Right beside me.

Just my luck.
