Chapter 17: Team Shadowspeed

Prower's P.O.V.

We were waiting for the announcement of the first round... Getsu looked pumped... So did Tetley... Atlas was squirming and I well I was basically a statue.

"Welcome everybody! To the Pokéguild tournament!!!!" The announcer said and then most cheered really loudly.

"Okay now to find out whom will start us off... Randomizing... Randomizing... Randomizing... Yaaaa! The first round is... Team shadowspeed of the Abomasnow Pokéguild vs team earthshaker of the marowak Pokéguild!" The announcer said over the intercom... Everybody cheered.

Team shadowspeed is the team that Capricorn leads... Hope he does well. "Woohoo go Capricorn!" Tetley and Getsu said excited... Guess it must be all the excitement in the arena causing it.

"Thanks newbies but this will be no problem." Capricorn said and to my surprise he was in a outfit... Same with the rest of his team.

"You have group outfits too?" Tetley asked and Capricorn nodded. "All the teams in the Abomasnow Pokéguild do." Capricorn said and then him and his team left to enter the arena... Oh I forgot to mention that each Pokéguild got its own box area in the arena...

"Here come the competitors now!" The announcer said sounding hyper.

"There is team Earthshaker! Excadrill is there leader and then they have Krokorok and Sigiliph!" The announcer said and we saw team earthshaker smile and wave to the crowd... The krokorok scared me though.

"And there is the opposing team... Team shadowspeed! With the leader of the team. Capricorn and then the two others Mushi and Gouri!" Capricorn, Mushi and Gouri smiled and waved to the crowd as the announcer spoke.

"We finally get to see how Capricorn fights." Getsu said looking excited... Tetley watched and looked excited as well... I was still basically a statue... And atlas well he was crying.

"Let the Pokéguild tournament officially begin!!!" The announcer said and then the fight began.

Capricorn begun with a really quick dash at the sigiliph and he used a point blank dark pulse in which sent it flying into the nearest wall.

The excadrill dashed to strike Gouri but Gouri dodged and then used leaf blade... Direct hit but the excadrill held strong.

By this point the sigiliph was back up and launched an air slash at Capricorn but Capricorn dodged it and used agility whilst in the air to boost his speed... He was really fast.

Mushi and the krokorok were just staring at each other.

Mushi eventually used lucky chant and now she wouldn't be able to be stuck and the opponent wouldn't be able to get a critical hit.

"Let's do this!" The excadrill shouted and then the krokorok smiled.

"Double earthquake!" The excadrill and krokorok shouted as they both struck the ground... The arena shook slightly making me wince a fair amount.

"Nice move but you can't beat us that easily!" I heard Capricorn shout and then he charged at the sigiliph again and used night slash and basically knocked the sigiliph out.

"That's one down!" Gouri shouted and then she moved to behind excadrill and used shadow ball.

The shadow ball didn't do too much but excadrill did look tired... Mushi was staring at krokorok still.

"Your getting on my nerve!" The krokorok shouted and then charged at Mushi and used bite.

Mushi looked hurt from the bite but she used barrier again and boosted defence.

Capricorn used agility then ran straight at krokorok and used night slash and the krokorok took the hit but not by much.

"Wow Capricorn is strong... All three of them are... I can't wait to fight them!" Getsu said excited for the chance... I hope we don't go up against them though.

The battle was dragging on and on... Even though I was basically a statue I was actually getting quite tired.

Capricorn eventually knocked out the krokorok but he was tired and had slowed down by the looks of it and then the excadrill knocked out Gouri... It was still two on one however.

"Okay time to win!" The excadrill shouted then he charged at Mushi and used metal claw... Excadrill struck really hard and at this point lucky chant had worn off...

Mushi was down and out... Leading to Capricorn vs Excadrill.

Capricorn used agility and then he dashed really quickly at excadrill and used night slash then after striking with night slash he then used a point blank dark pulse which sent excadrill into a wall and knocked him out.

"The winner is team shadowspeed!!!!" The announcer yelled and then most of the people in the Abomasnow Pokéguild jumped for joy... I stayed as a statue... And atlas kept crying.

Capricorn stuck his paw up and smiled. "We won!" Capricorn shouted looking very tired.
