Chapter 7: Show time

Prower's P.O.V.

We all went through our lines... Although I didn't read mine out loud... And then we all had a break. "Okay so now we shall have a twenty minute break no more no less and then we will go out to the stage and do our special improvisation game called show time." Tetley said and then Dinz and Stell cheered and Atlas well... He was still tied up and fidgeting.

"Well since we have a twenty minute break I think I shall show you both where your costumes are. Come follow." Tetley told Getsu and I after tying Atlas to a pole... Seems kinda cruel. "That seems mean to tie him to that pole." Getsu told Tetley but Tetley just giggled a little. "If I didn't tie him there Atlas would have run to hide somewhere... Probably in his usual spot."

Tetley led us to the costume area and whilst small it had a lot of costumes. "Now here is where we store our costumes... Here is the prince one and here is the princess one... The princess one comes with a wig as well." Tetley told us with a sparkle in his eyes. "Sorry I just really love dressing up... I think the costumes are the best side of acting on stage." Tetley told us and well I just stayed silent.

"Okay well go and check if they fit... Oh and don't worry the costumes all have tail holes... Oh and Prower since you are playing the princess you will need more make-up... And the dress has a corset as well... Hope you don't mind being squished." Tetley said and I just went pale.

Getsu tried on the prince costume and he looked pretty good in it... If I must say myself. "So what do you think.... I look lame don't I?" Getsu asked and I just shook my head. "Not at all you look very princely." I told Getsu quietly.

I kept trying to get my costume on but the dress was difficult to get on and the less said about the corset the better... How did this type of thing catch on with women of the past... Often these type of things were worn by gardevoir and leavanny... I don't think they thought a male floatzel that is a little bit chubby would try and wear one.

"We have only ten minutes left until the break ends... I was hoping we could get this over and done with but it might be a while." Getsu said and I was still struggling with my costume... He is right though and I wish I never got stuck in this situation.

"Are you two done yet?" I heard Tetley say from behind the door. I froze in spot and blushed... Well at least I finally got the costume on... I couldn't breathe so well though. "Hmm you actually look pretty good as a girl." Getsu told me and I just twitched in anger again.

We exited the change room area and Tetley looked at us with sparkling eyes. "Wow you both suit those costumes well... Trei bien... Fabulous! Now time to get out and onto the stage for some show time!" Tetley exclaimed happily... He must really like this stuff.

"Say Prower if you wanna knock me out so we can avoid this I wouldn't mind." Getsu whispered to me then I saw tetley's ear twitch. "No you may not! Now we are getting closer to the stage... Just grin and bare it." Tetley told us and then stomped to add effect... It scared me though.

Getsu followed Tetley although with little mumbles here and there and I followed behind them walking at a really slow pace. "Well now you finally get to the stage." Dinz overacted and was in a weird wizard costume.

"Well we had costume issues... And other issues as well." Tetley told the others. "W-w-w-well can we get this started already." I heard a stuttering voice say and I looked around to find it... I saw someone behind a curtain was Atlas... He didn't even make one step on the stage... I do wonder how he became an actor if he has such bad nervousness.

"Okay so let's get show time underway!" Tetley exclaimed

Everybody came onto the stage... Well I stayed to the side and Atlas stayed behind the curtain. "Okay so the scene is, drumroll please, where there is a mystical wizard whom has tasks to complete and the wizards helpers go and help the wizard develop a new spell. Okay now the wizard will be played by Dinz... And the rest of us will be the helpers." Tetley told us and I just froze up and Atlas well he was crying by the looks of it.

"We have to get this started... Let's go it's show timeeeee!" Tetley exclaimed loudly.

After ten minutes of this improvisation game I decided to stop being frozen to my spot and instead walk slowly onto the stage... And as I did I looked at Atlas and saw he was still behind the curtain but was acting his role pretty well... Just out of sight.

"Well my wonderful helpers I the great wizard have developed a new spell and it is all thanks to you!" Dinz said in a overacting voice... I didn't say anything and I was basically frozen behind everybody.

"And scene! Magnificent work everybody! Now let's go back to the tent and practice our lines together." Tetley said and as he did we left to the actors area... Well I walked well behind the others and Getsu just moped as he walked... And Atlas well he was still behind the curtain...

"Hey Dinz where is the rope I need to get Atlas back here." Tetley said and Dinz just gave him the rope. "Thanks... Be back soon... Get to learning your lines even if I ain't here." Tetley said before running back to the stage to get atlas back here.
