DISCLAIMER: unfortunately, I do not own Reign. Cause if I did, then I would bring back Francis from the dead.
Anyways, enjoy the story loves. And read the authors note at the bottom :))

"Well Mary, it's pretty obvious that you really really like Francis" I said tossing a small pebble into a pond. Once I found Mary, we went for a walk outside the castle.
"Really?" She questioned sorting some pebbles of her own.
"Yes, and I actually ship you two. At first I was a little skeptical of you marrying Francis but now I see the way he looks at you" I told my sister as I plopped down next to her.
"Wait, why were you skeptical" she asked. I smiled and looked out at the pond. It was a beautiful sight to see.
"I don't know really. I guess since I'm your sister I'm always going to be protective of you. And even though we grew up with Francis, he still could've changed" I told her slowly. I hadn't even known why I was skeptical till i responded.
"Well Eden, I am the bigger sister and I'm pretty sure I can take care of myself." She laughed. I smiled and looked back at her.
"What are we even doing out here" I asked wrapping my cloak around my body as a gush of wind hit me.
"I'm looking for stones for Francis" she said almost embarrassed. I threw my head back and started laughing. But my laughter seemed to fade as my dog, sterling , started growling. I furrowed my brows as I turned my head.
"Shut that thing up Eden. I don't even know why Mother let you get a dog. I absolutely hate it." Mary scowled at me after dropping some rocks. I gasped as I looked at her.
"Well, I love him." I shot Back glaring at her in a playful manner. She stuck her tongue out at me as I walked up to sterling.
"Sterling. Shh. Come here boy" I said softly to my childhood pet. The grey dog walked over to me as he glared into the woods, like something was there. "Nothing's there" I told him.
"C'mon let's head back, I found all the rocks I need." Mary said standing up. She wiped off her dress then we walked back towards the castle. I couldn't help but take one last glance at the woods where sterling was staring.
Once we made it back to the castle, me and Mary went to Francis' room to give him some pebbles. Mary wouldn't tell my why, but I'm guessing it's for decoration.
"Oh no, I can't do this" she said as we made it to Francis' door. I rolled my eyes and nodded as I pushed her to the doorway. She glanced back at me nervously before knocking on the door.
"Mary, Eden" Francis greeted us, surprised. I nodded and gave a small wave. "What is it" he asked a bit rudely.
"I uh brought you something , to decorate your swords with" she responded sweetly. I smiled at them.
"Nows not a good time" Francis said.
"Oh" Mary simply said.
"Next time you should be announced" Francis explained. I just stood there, unsure of what to do. "My page is there for a reason"
"I don't understand-" Mary spoke. I took a step closer to my sister.
"You shouldn't be here" Francis said cutting her off.
"Why do you sound so - I uh, are you alone? " Mary asked her face faltering from anger to sadness. Me and Mary noticed Francis shifting on his feet. "Are you with someone?" Mary asked.
