"WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP!" Megan screamed at me while jumping up and down on my bed "Come on Laura!" I heard Laura climb onto the bed too.
"We need to make this a party!" Laura squealed "HEY BOYS! PARTY ON MADDIE'S BED!" two of the three boys ran onto the room taking their shirts off, and pounced on my bed.
"WOAH, WOAH! NOT THAT KIND OF PARTY!" Megan said.
"WE KNEW THAT!" They laughed putting their shirts back on, then all four of them started jumping.
"I'm awake! I'm awake!" I sat up on my bed and stared at everybody with my smudged eyeliner and messy bed head. "Stop looking at me, im ugly in the mornings. It doesn't help that I forgot to take my makeup off lastnight either.."
"Babe, you're never ugly." Luke stumbled out of my bathroom. I started to blush.
"Wait, why were you coming out of the bathroom in here?" Jai qustioned "and why are you in your underwear?" all eyes were on me.
"NOTHING HAPPENED!" I shouted
"Suuureeeeeee" Beau winked at Luke, giving him a thumbs up. I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him.
"Nothing happened! Right Luke?" now all eyes were on him
"She's right, nothing happened." he smiled a mischievous smile. Once again I grabbed a pillow but this time I threw it at Luke.
"Come on, lets go eat!" I said. I rushed down the stairs. "Well, we have cereal, and a bunch of other stuff that requires cooking."
"Can you even cook?" Jai asked
"Can I cook? Bitch please, I am the best." I proclaimed
"Yeah, her mom used to cook for a living." Laura stated
"But my dad taught me everything I know." I glided towards the fridge and pulled out a bunch of stuff.
-Luke's POV-
"Are you sure she can cook?" I asked Megan
"Yeah she cooks all the time." she rolled her eyes. I looked over at Maddie, still in her pajamas running around ths kitchen like a wild woman. I saw pans moving, things flipping, eggs cracking, whisks, well, whisking.
"Wah-lah! she said handing everyone their own plates. "It is zeh omelette vith cheeze and some odher stouf. (it is the omlette with cheese and other stuff)" she tried her best french accent. "WAIT! Almost forgot! Salt and pepper!" she slid the shakers onto the table and sat down next to Megan, across from me. I looked down at my food and then up at the rest of the group. Megan and Laura were chowing down, Jai and Beau were about to eat some. So I cut myself some and started eating.
"Holy shit, this is the best omelette I've ever had." Beau exclaimed
"Can I cook! Pshh! I showed you guys!" Maddie bragged, we all broke out in laughter at her over confidence.
-Maddie's POV-
"So what are we doing today?" Luke asked
"Well, we're not at a beach house because of the snow." Megan pointed out
"That's true" I agreed "So, we going to the beach?"
"Um, YES" they said in unison
"I'm going to get dressed!" I ran upstairs and grabbed my yellow ruffled bikini. I slipped it on, before i jumped on my bed and picked up my phone I glanced in the mirror. It makes sense why people say yellow is my color. The screen of my iPhone said one missed call, I have no idea who's number that is. I hit redial, "hello?"
"Hey Maddie!" It's Finn, I panicked.
"H-hey Finn" I managed to say
"Wanna go get some coffee or something today?"
"I can't today, but maybe tomorrow."
"Okay that works!"
"Okay, bye"
"Bye, see you tomorrow!" I hung up the phone and smashed my face into my bed. Why did I do this, I'm just torturing myself. He's such an ass, a gorgeous ass. With big blue eyes, a nice build, and a- MADDIE! Pull your self together!
"Come on!" Megan yelled "we're waiting!"
"Coming!" I grabbed my sunglasses and rushed outside. We were staying basically at a beach front house. We could walk to the ocean.
"It's so beautiful!" Laura ran to the water. Megan and I set out our towels. We laid down side by side.
"Time to get my tan on!" I chanted as I put my sunglasses on. We stayed there for about 5 minutes before Luke and Jai came sprinting towrads us.
"Come on!" they pulled us to our feet. We started off towards the water. I was waist deep when i realized I forgot to take my sunglasses off.
"Guys I'll be right back I have to take my sunglasses off!" I told them. I ran back to my towel and put them down.
"Come on slow poke!" I heard Luke yell as he came up behind me, picked me up, and ran with me to the water.
"Let me go!" I tried to get out of his grip. He let me go and we joined the others. I splashed Luke, which was a huge mistake.. I splashed him, he splashed me, I accidently splashed Megan, and on, and on, until it was like a splash World War 3.
After an hour or so Megan, Laura, and I went back to our towels. "What's going on with you and Beau?" i questioned Laura
"I don't know anymore" she sighed "I thought he liked me, but he's just not showing any signs.."
"Well," I smiled "I talked to him when we went to pick up the pizzas. He said he likes you"
"Really?" she said excitedly
"Yeah" I replied. She glanced at him looking satisfied. "What about you?" I questioned Megan.
"What do you mean?" she mumbled
"You know," I nudged her "you and Jai"
"He actually hasn't talked to me since you introduced us." she laughed
"Maybe you should make the first move, ask him out on a date."
"I don't know if he likes me..."
"Megan, you're a beautiful ray of sunshine." I assured her. "The worst he could say is no." She siged and nodded.
"I'll talk to him when we get back to the house." We noticed the boys stumbling over to us.
"Woah, woah, woah!" I shouted "Back off! You guys are all wet!" They stopped to look at each other then back to us.
"Then I guess that measn we shouldn't do this!" Beau smiled. "Now!" they all started shaking, not like shaking, like when a dog is trying to dry off, getting water droplets allover us and our towels.
"You guys ready to head back to the house?" Luke questioned, everyone nodded in agreement. We packed up our things and walked home. On the way, I noticed Megan and Jai talking. He was smiling, that's a good sign. I'm happy for her. She needs someone in her life. She's never had a boyfriend before...
