Chapter 8

June 1, 2013

8:00 am

"So do we have everything?" I asked Megan.

"Suitcases ?" I asked pretending to have a checklist

"Check" she stated

"Plane tickets?"

"Check"

"Yourself?"

"Double check"

"Laura? And all her stuff?"

"Check!" Laura shouted

"My car keys?"

"No check this time bub." Megan said

"Well shit." I angrily said.

Knock knock knock

"Come in!" I screamed. Luke, Beau, and Jai came in the door with all their luggage trailing behind, they each had a small suit case and a carry on bag full of stuff. "How much stuff do you guys have?" I said sounding astounded.

"We're staying there the entire summer!" Luke replied smiling.

"All this doesn't happen by itself!" Jai announced motioning to his face and hair. I looked over at Megan, she looked like she was literally about to have a panic attack. I laughed at her and looked over at Jai.

"Jai, this is Megan. I think you two will get along." I winked at Megan, she gave me such a nervous look. I smiled and walked over to Luke "Hey you" I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. "You excited? We get to spend the entire summer together"

I pulled away and yelled for Laura. "The boys are here!" I screamed.

"I kinda heard them!" She screamed back. She came out if her room with a suitcase, a carry on bag and another small bag. Along with her purse which she takes everywhere, I'm pretty sure it's her mom's, but I don't know.

"Are we ready?" Megan asked

"No!" I said "we still have to find my car keys!"

"Let's split up." Luke suggested "you and me, Jai and Megan, Beau and Laura."

"Okay" I replied "let's go check my room. Megan and Jai, you go get the living room. Beau and Laura, you get the kitchen. Look anywhere else if you don't find them.

"Got it" they all said. I motioned for Luke to follow me. We went inside and I started to look in my desk drawers, he looked in my nightstand drawers.

"I got to meet him, I really got to meet him! He's so hot! With his brown curly hair and big brown eyes." He said dramatically.

"What?" I turned around "hey! That's my diary!" I tackled him on my bed trying to reach for it. I grabbed it and stood up.

"Where you going?" He grinned, he pulled me back onto him. He sat up with me on his lap, and started to kiss me. I bit his lip rings playfully. I broke the kiss and whispered in his ear "we have time for that later."

"FOUND EM'! I heard Laura yell. I rushed to find her standing there holding my purse with the keys in her hand. "They were in here the whole time" she giggled.

"Yeah, that makes sense." I chuckled "so, are we ready?!"

"I know I am!" Luke said with excitement in his voice, as he hugged me from behind. I looked at him and kissed him on the cheek.

"Get a room you two!" Beau yelled playfully

"Oh we plan on it!" Luke winked

"Excuse me, what?" I laughed "that, depends on how many rooms there are."

"We'll see about that." He walked away laughing

"Okay everyone! Stuff in the car!" I screamed "some people are going to have to have stuff in there lap!" We all gathered at my jeep. "Oh looks like we're one seat short. Someone's gonna have to have something more than luggage on their lap." I laughed

"I'll drive" Megan said

"SHOTGUN!" Laura screamed

"Looks like I'm on your lap, Luke" he smiled at me. "Come on get in the car guys." Beau, Luke, and Jai piled in the backseat. I got in after they got situated and sat on Luke. "Comfy" I grinned, and laid back on his chest.

"Aw, how cute" Laura looked at us.

"Shut up" I stuck my tongue out at her. Luke put his arms around me. "What's this for?" I looked at his arms

"I'm your seatbelt since you don't have one." He smiled at me, and put his chin on my shoulder. I half smiled half giggled at him. We backed out of the driveway and drove down the road.

At the airport

9:00 am

"We're here guys!" Megan announced. We all basically fell out of the backseat of the car. We got all of our stuff out the trunk and walked inside the airport.

"Ticket for you, ticket for you, ticket for you, ticket for you, ticket for you, and ticket for me." I said as I handed the tickets out.

"Let's go!" Jai screamed. We all headed towards the gate and boarded the plane. I sat next to Luke and some stranger. I didn't see the others.

"Here" Luke smiled as he handed me a earphone. he started to play music. As soon as the plane took off I instantly fell asleep on Luke's shoulder.
