(Song is the one mentioned at the bonfire in this chapter)
Luka:
"Luka" I groaned at the sound of my name being called off in the distance, I was trying to hold onto the dream I was having of back when I was younger and things weren't so messed up.
When my mom was still alive and I didn't hate my father's guts, but then my name was being called again a little louder this time and I felt a soft poke on my side. Ignoring whatever the hell it was I pulled my blankets up closer around me and snuggled down in the warmth of my bed.
"Hey asshole get the hell up!" I jolted up as a bucket of ice water hit my face drenching the sheets and dripping down my back and stomach.
"What the fuck Eli!" I growled getting up just so I could kick his ass as he held the bucket in his hands.
"You have to drive me to school it's Friday so I have class" he said as his eyes slowly dipped down as water still ran its way over my chest to my abs.
"You have a damn jeep drive yourself" I hissed walking into the bathroom to grab a towel, "You drove me here last night idiot I don't have my jeep here" I was freezing and a little more than slightly annoyed.
"Then walk" I told him in a flat tone as we stared each other down for what felt like eons until I caved under his glare. For a laid back kind of guy you wouldn't think that he could have such a murder stare.
"Fine, holy shit let's go" I said shoving him out of my room and into the hallway, "You're not going to change? Maybe put a shirt on perhaps" he asked as we descended the staircase.
"Do you want me to drive you to school or not?" I exclaimed grabbing my car keys, "Okay, okay, damn you are not an early riser" he huffed.
"Not when I've had a bucket of Alaska thrown at my face!" I yelled as we got into my jeep and I pulled out of my driveway.
I now knew every route to every place Eli could usually be found by heart, and I didn't know whether that should concern me or not because sometimes I still had trouble remembering how to get to Grey's apartment after years of friendship.
Of course on the way to the school traffic just wanted to make my day even better as we seemed to hit every single red light making this little drive that much longer, seriously all I wanted to do was go back to sleep.
Finally making it into the parking lot of the high-school I pulled in to a space as teenagers mingled about everywhere, I did not miss this scene one bit.
If there was one word I could use to define high-school it would be drama. And drama was inevitable, so don't even try not to cause any because I swear you could cause drama in high-school just by breathing next to someone too loudly.
"Have a fantastic day at school champ" I punched Eli in the arm with a huge fake smile, he rolled his eyes and got out of the jeep. Since my roof and walls had been taken down for the summer the group of young girls beside us were watching the whole thing giggling as I glanced over at them in my pajama pants with no shirt.
"Practically begged me to see him off to school today, kid is in love with me. I can't blame him though after the things we did last night" I sighed dramatically making them all blush and squeal as Eli stuck his middle finger up at me.
"Dick!" he called out as I drove past him, "You've had enough already, go learn!" I hollered back before pulling out onto the road and heading back home.
Kid will think twice before throwing ice water on me in the morning next time.
When I got back home I put my jeep in the garage and headed to the front door tossing my keys in my hand, as I starting going up the steps to the porch I glanced up and my eyes met with Miles.
