Luka:
The following week flew by as Eli took his final exam and ditched his prom to come tagging with me. It was a bit of a hobby, I usually only picked abandoned buildings to spray paint on. I liked it because it was as if I was turning something old and ugly into something beautiful and enticing.
I was surprised when Eli had said he would rather come with me than go to his school's prom. I mean wasn't prom some rite of passage?
I wouldn't really know I didn't go to my own prom. I thought it was lame and a waste of money for the ticket, that didn't stop girls from asking me to go with them right up till the very last minute before prom though.
I guess Eli didn't really strike me as the prom going type anyway, he was a go with the flow sort of dude, and nothing really seemed to bug him that much to where he actually got angry. Totally opposite from myself.
Over the month and a half since I met him I'd grown accustomed to him so much that I could point him out of a crowd just by his walk.
I was beginning to think that I was obsessive over him, when I went to a therapist he told me that along with my aggression it could cause me to become possessive and obsessed with certain things.
I hoped I was wrong because Eli wasn't some object, he was my friend.
Tonight we were all going to a party for Eli's graduating class, it was being held at some popular chick's house so you knew everyone would be there. Again I ended up having to pick everyone up to drive them to the party.
Parking on the side of the rode we all got out and headed up to the house, Eli had brought along some girl named Carson and she was gorgeous. They seemed to have a really close relationship and I wasn't sure if they had ever been together or with they would get together soon.
Eli opened the door and the music inside immediately hit my body thudding in my chest with the beat of my heart as we entered. This scene was all too familiar with me.
"Eli!" some girl squealed coming over to us, I was guessing this was her party. "So glad you made it, drinks are to your left, hot tub is in the backyard and bedrooms are up the stairs" she said smiling before shouting and moving back into the mass of bodies that were dancing to the song that was playing.
"I guess the location of the bathroom isn't important" Miles commented gazing around the place, "In situations like this one they hardly ever are" Grey smirked clapping him on the shoulder.
"Who wants a drink to start the mood" Carson suggested reaching over the bar area and pouring shots for us. "I've never had alcohol before" Miles said with wide eyes as the rest of us slung the shot glasses back in unison.
"First time for everything" I shrugged nodding at the glass in his hand, slowly he brought the glass up to his lips and copied our actions and slung the vodka back wincing at the burn as it went down.
"That a boy!" Carson beamed pouring everyone another, clearly she was a party girl. "Now let's go dance" she said grabbing Eli by the wrist and pulling him away out to where everyone moved to the beat.
Watching until I could no longer see him I reached over and poured two more shots handing one to Grey, grabbing salt and a lime wedge.
"Ready?" he asked salting up his hand as I nodded, "Go!" we licked the salt off slung back our shots and bit our limes. "Yes, that is what I'm talking about!" Grey yelled grabbing the three of us beers, opening Miles's for him.
I popped the cap off my beer by my teeth and took a long sip from it, I needed the distraction. "You're cute" a slurred voice said from behind me as arms wrapped around my waist, turning my head I found a girl attached to them.
