Walking outside of the prison I was walking up after Carl and Maggie the baby started crying and everyone turned to me I was sobbing and couldn't speak my dad started to walk to me and crying "where where is she ??" He asked me "dad no no !" " Daryl asked him hershal looked up and nodded "she looks healthy enough but she needs formula and fast other wise she won't survive " he said to me and daryl "nope not her I'm going on a run !" He said walking up to Beth "I'll back you up "I said to him "me too " Glenn said after daryl quietly talked to Beth he turned to us "come on people were gon loose the light !" we was all gathered round the truck "anybody no a place for baby's ?" Getting up to what looked like a nursery I got of the bike first walking over to the gate and kicking it open getting up to the window I smashed it as quiet as I could and climbed through looking around it was so sad I couldn't look anymore I spotted some cupboards and jogged over to them opening them up jackpot I found 2bottle a box full of baby grows and a box full of nappies and 3 dummy's the only thing I didn't find was formula getting up I seen daryl looking at the wall then look away with a sad exasperation on his face I looked to the wall and seen why (Sophia) was
Written on the wall after looking at it for a few second I walked away ,, checking every room to see if their was any walkers or if it had anything for me (bang ,bang ,moving around ) noises come out of no where I came out my room to see daryl looking at me we both jogged to the noise opening the gat daryl walked in first then he nodded his head at the cupboard so I slowly walked up and opened it (tishh) the posum maybe a hissing sound but it don't last for long Daryl's arrow was now lodged in its stomach "hello dinner " he said to me "I ain't putting that in my bag " I said to him and looked around noticing I was in the kitchen I ran for the cupboards ripping them open and I couldn't keep the smile of my face 2big containers of formula shoving them in my bag I turned to go find daryl but he was stood there staring at me with a weird look "what ?" I asked him "you ok ?" He said in his gruff voice "yea I'm fine " I said turning away cause I'm about to start crying and he doesn't need to no that shit "kenz come hear " he said to me and I just shook my head "baby come here " that is the first time he has ever said anything like that so I spun around as quick as I could "talk to me " he said putting his hand on my cheeks wiping away the tears that escaped with his thumbs "she's gone daryl she's gone and i couldn't do anything about it I killed my mum to save my sister what type of world is this I won't my mum D I want my mum !!!" I said to him and I couldn't stop the sobs that escaped me his hand slid to the back of my head and pulled me to him "she's gone ,she's gone " I kept saying to him "she might not be hear in person kenzi but she's definitely hear in spirt hear in you hear in Carl hear in that baby girl so let's go save that baby girl !" He said to me witch made me snap out of my trance and we both ran for the bike
When we was near the prison it was nearly dark once we got inside we heard the baby screaming I ran in "Maggie !" I shouted for my best friend and she come and helped me with the bottle turning around to take the baby off Carl I turned and the wind was knocked right out of me daryl is holding her rushing to him I give him the bottle and he started to feed her and she was so quiet "she got a name yet ?" He said to Carl "I don't no i was thinking maybe Sophia,Carol ,Andrea,Amy ,Jackie ,Patricia or maybe,,maybe Lori !i dunno " he said welling up "yea you like that you like that little arse kicker " Daryl said to her which made a huge smile to stretch on my face "that's good right" he said to us we all laugh and a choir of yeses was heard"you like that sweetheart you like that !" He was so good with her after her bottle I took her of daryl I winded her and cleaned her up I put a nappie on her bum and a baby grow on her to walking up to the girls that was hiding something "what's going on " I said nodding to the thing behind their back "not much but .." They pulled a box with little arse kicker written on the side which caused me to smile "just until we can get a cot in hear for her " Beth said so I walked up the stairs adjusting the baby in my arms when I got their I lay her down and stroked her face I just stayed quiet and stared at her looking up after what felt like a few minutes all the girls was gone turning back to the baby she like stared again she was so beautiful I heard foot steps behind me so I turned "hey" i whispered to him "how is she doing?"he said coming right up to her "she's sleeping witch is a good thing "I said chuckling a bit "your so good with her your mum would be so proud kenz " Daryl said to me which made a lump form in my throat "she should be hear to see her daryl she should of at least got to see her baby this world is so cruel !!" I said to him getting worked up I hate this feeling I want my mum back "kenzie kenzie !" I snapped out of my trance and looked at him "yea ?" I whispered "everything is going to be okay we will get trough this I promise !" He said grabbing hold of my cheek and pulling me to him I wiggled my head into the crook of his neck and breathed out "okay we should get some sleep it's been a ruff day !" Daryl said to my patting the bottom of my back "stay with me I don't won't to sleep alone ,,please " I asked him grabbing ahold of his jacket tightly "please " I said again because he didn't answer me he just nodded and tapped my back again so I let go turning I picked up the baby's box and carried her to my perch and lay her on the floor next to my bed turning I see daryl still behind me I tought he would of made a quick escape while I was walking to my perch but he didn't I sat on my mattress and took my shoes of and then my jacket and lay down and closed my eyes I felt daryl come and lay behind me "night daryl " I whispered to him "night kenz " an I slowly drifted of to sleep
