Halloween. My absolute favourite time of the year. And I know exactly what my costume is gonna be!
We were done with our mock exams and we had a whole day just to celebrate Halloween. Halloween was tomorrow, anyway.
I was sitting at my desk, sketching out an eye I was doing for my makeup tomorrow, trying to get everything in order.
Everyone else was off making cookies or carving pumpkins or putting up decorations or whatever.
Hikaru came up and hugged my shoulders, planting a kiss on my cheek. "Whatcha doing?" He asked and I covered up my shit drawing. "Nothing." I smiled and turned towards him. "Don't lie." He smirked and his face got close to mine.
"Fine. I'm planning out my costume for tomorrow." I said and flipped my paper over. "And you can't see it." I beamed. "Aw, why not?" He asked. "It's a surprise." I said and he smiled. "Okay. Fair enough."
Hikaru sat beside me and was very close. "So what are your plans?" He asked. "I'll probably take Hajime for his first Halloween." I hummed, smiling to myself. "And you think you're not like a mom." Hikaru snickered and rolled his eyes. "Huh?" "You are so a mom to Hajime." He smiled at me. "I mean, I guess... but I'm his aunt." I shrugged.
"You're his mother figure." Hikaru said and I sighed and shrugged.
The day ended and we went to the Host Club. Literally the moment I stepped in, I got a call from Juni. "Juni, what is it?" "Hey, I need you to watch over Hajime." He said. "I'm at the Host Club right now, and I have practice later." I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. "Can't you bring him to practice with you?" "No! That isn't the place for a seven month old!" I sighed again. "What? How?" "It's loud, it could bust his hearing." I said. "Honestly, how are you even a father?" I asked.
"Naomi, I really need this. Please." He said and I closed my eyes and was quiet for a few seconds. "Fine. I'll do it. I'll call Atsushi and see if I can miss a practice..." "No, don't do that! You have a whole bunch of friends. Just take them to practise and have them look after Hajime." He said and I froze. "That might actually work." I hummed. "Okay, I'll see what I can do." I said and hung up and turned to them.
"Okay, who's good with kids?" I asked and they turned and stared. "Why?" Tamaki asked. "I need to get to practise and Juni needs me to watch after Hajime, and I obviously can't do both. So here's the deal, of you can watch after Hajime as I practise, you get to see the practise." I said and most of them perked up.
"We can do it!" The twins said. "I wanna do it! Kids love me." Tamaki shouted. "If you need it that badly." Haruhi and I smiled at her. "Thanks, Haruhi." I sighed and the other three froze as I left with her.
We stopped by my house and I took Hajime into my arms and a bag with some food and milk and toys for him, which Haruhi carried. We walked to the theatre and I met with Atsushi.
"Hey, this is my nephew, and this is my friend, Haruhi. They're going to just hang out because I'm supposed to be looking after Hajime." I said and he nodded. "Sure. Of course. Nice to meet you, Haruhi." He said and they shook hands.
I got up on stage and met the rest of the cast, Gou, the guy who played Rocky and is now playing Graverobber, winked at me. "Naomi. Our second run together. And we're yet again love interests." He said and I nodded. "Don't get your hopes up, I have a boyfriend." I said and he looked a little surprised, but nodded.
"Graverobber! Get to your place with the Zydrate sluts! We're taking this from the top with scripts!" Atsushi called and he smiled at me before going to his place, and Nathan in his Repoman suit went to hunt a Zydrate slut.
After a few hours of practise, Haruhi came around my house and I made us tea until Juni or mom came back to drop her off at her house.
Pretty good day.
