The class of Yoga this morning helped me pull away everything I had inside and relaxed myself a little bit. The girls wanted to see me after that but I wasn’t in the mood, although I accepted because it was the least thing I could do after they helped me yesterday.
“So… how it was…?” Asked Kitty.
“I don’t wanna talk about it…” I said turning around so that my back could face the sunshine.
“Everything’s alright?” I didn’t say anything and the girls were waiting for an answer.
“I don’t want to say that typical sentence “Guys, yes, you were right, I should’ve listened to you before” because it’s true, you were right and I was so wrong, and I hate it ok?”
The girls looked at each other confused and I sighed.
“I know the real him now ok? Are you happy now? He punched some douchebag in the port, just in the date because he was saying nasty things to me and touched my bum. And now please, just move on”
“We’re sorry Leah, but we warned you about him” said Bailey.
“I know but facing the truth hurts more than living a lie. I’m sorry, I just need to be alone right now” I said standing up, taking my towel with me and started walking with no destination.
I was seeing the place Brandon told me about and there he was, with the kids. He was the only one who could help me right now. I walked towards him and smiled at how caring he was with his kids.
“Hey Leah!” he said when he saw me.
“Hi”
“What are you doing here?”
“I was just passing by…” I said trying to sound normal.
“Are you sure? You don’t seem so happy” But apparently I didn’t.
“No, actually… could I talk to you about you know…”
“Harry?”
“Yeah”
“Ok, kids, now you can play in the water!” he said and all the kids went to the water with huge smiles on their faces. Brandon and I sat in front of them as we were watching them playing.
“Ok, now we can talk”
“It’s just… how bad Harry is?” I asked him curiously.
“Look, there’re lots of stories out there. Nobody really knows the real one because he is so reserved and don’t talk to anybody about that. He only knows his own story, I can’t really tell you”
“It’s just… I had a date with him yesterday, or whatever it was and he had a fight with some guy called Michael”
“Michael! Is he back?”
“Why is everybody so surprised about him being back?”
“Michael is the real badass here. He’s like really really bad. His parents had to send him to a reformatory because he has done really bad things. I don’t know if it has changed him a little bit but I don’t like the idea of him being back”
“This sound kind of a movie I don’t want to watch”
“Well, you have to stay away from him”
“But what did he do? I mean, why is he bad?”
“Do you really want to know?” I nodded quickly. Of course I wanted to know, maybe I could answer some questions I had stuck on my head all this time.
