I watch as Lucas and maya start laughing and im really confused "Whats so funny""Oh nothing dont worry" maya says calming down . We get to school and maya looks happier then yesterday so I am obviousley happy . We walk into class and like usual my dad trys to teach us about boston but farkle screams "MAYA I KNOW WHO YOU LIKE" he drags her out into the hallway. I cant hear them but i see her turning so red . She comes back in the room . I remember her arm and as my dad trys to get back to the lesson I drag her out into the hallway ." Maya if the person you like is causing you to Do this to youself why like them" she replies "Because theyre my sunshine and I love them but they dont like me" I tell her to "Just tell him them." she laughs and nods "Not yet" She told Farkle and i think she may have told lucas why wont she tell me ?

       When we get home my cousin Josh is over whom Maya has had a crush on for years. "Maya so great to see you" She says "ya ya wheres topanga?" she doesnt jump on him thats weird she loves him. We find my mother and ask if Maya can stay with us and explain the whole situation Topanga says" i understand im sorry your mother feels that way about you." im confused what does my mother know that i dont? Everyones leaving me in a state of oblivion recently. I ask maya to come to my room with me Christmas is coming up in 12 days and I get my gift for Maya ready . Since we've been 9 we gave eachother a gift for 12 days "12 days of christmas " Inspired that. Today I have a small stuffed Monkey im giving her . I tell her 12 more days she gives me a knowing glance so i know she hasnt forgotten. Auggie comes in "RILEY!" Uncle Shawn is here " Maya gets excited and says we'll continue this in a few minutes. Since a few months ago Shawn has acted like a father figure to Maya . She runs up to him and he picks her up "I heard about what happened with your mom Dont worry i dont care i love you" she smiles and nestles her head into his shoulder he puts her down and I give him  a hug . He knows about maya too? after me maya josh My mom and dad and shawn all greet eachother my grandparents come over . Theyre all staying in a hotel but theyll be spending most of the days here .

      So me and maya head back over to my room hoping for no more disruptions I get out the Gift box and maya takes it and smiles at me . Maya has a cute smile  , I like when shes happy. She opens the gift and smiles at me her eyes sparkling "I love it" she gets  her gift and I get excited and steal it from her hands Its small but i dont care . I open it . Its a big heart gold locket.
