Seamus got back to his home in the Abandon City, happy to finally be able to sit back down. Taking a soda from the massacred, but working fridge, he set his pistol and shotgun down on a weakening table. Usually he puts one near the teleporter just in case, and after Tiffany came back, he brought it out. He thought about the patrols he was supposed to be doing, but shrugged them off for the time being. Seamus sat down on the dusty couch, the core of his home, and laid back, all the thoughts of what was happening surging through his mind. First of all, Immortal has got to get his shit together. Seamus might still have an emptiness in his heart vacated by Iris, but he's fully understood that she's gone and free. Immortal, on the other hand, still can't except that, and if he keeps on coping by turning into an asshole, who knows what'll happen to his job in The Creatures.
Second of all, fucking Tiffany has to come back. Seamus cringed at even the thought of her name. She should just learn to keep to herself and not try to attack, 'cause anything or anybody against The Creatures, obviously would never win. Hopefully, that remains true. Whatever she's planning, he can tell it's not good, and working with witchcraft and potions doesn't help either. Seamus started to doze off thinking about everything, and eventually a nap took place and he fell asleep in his quiet, lonely abandoned city.
Yet again, Immortal woke up with a bare Iris beside him, draped over with sheets. He had taken his mask off, that was true, but even without it he made sure to give her a damn good time. She was fast asleep, and he couldn't help but be grateful for her there with him, alive. He admired her, her ice eyes splattered with a fiery gleam, her dark hair whose neon green streaks had changed to flames, much to Immortal's liking. But he most admired her fighting techniques, and the way they were both able to make justice in this world, and feel so accomplished at the same time.
However, lately, Immortal had no longer felt that imprisonment was enough for the rats and low-life's of the city. They were hurting other people, financially, physically, emotionally, everything. Plus the mere thought of murdering someone and being able to get away with it made his blood boil with excitement. The ideas shook themselves out of his head, saying that they were absurd and unreasonable. He got up out of bed after running through all of his feelings and pushing them aside for the day, then went to get ready. Once he was done, he pulled on black jeans and a black t-shirt, grabbing his leather jacket off of the dresser, since everything was pretty cold in this house. Immortal grabbed his mask and slid it on, feeling complete and whole again.
The bed sheets shift, making him turn around to see Iris bright-eyed and awake, her messy hair the only thing covering her chest, and the blankets tangled around her smooth legs. She smiled at him, and he started going towards her, beginning to remove the mask again out of his craving to be with her again. The button on his ear buzzed, then an address was displayed across the glass screen inside of his mask. Stopping in his tracks, he recognized the address as the outskirts of the Abandoned City. He scoffed, upset that he had to hold his hunger for Iris, but glad that he would be able to take on another task full of fun.
"Iris, sadly enough dear, I probably should head out on this one. It's around the Abandoned City, where all the direst and grimiest go. I'll go wait outside, and when you're ready, we can go on yet another date." She grinned with the thirst to kill.
"Sounds exhilarating, darling." She got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom, Immortal shamelessly looking her up and down from the back. Iris got ready while Immortal waited in the room, aching to go in. She headed out and started grabbing some clothes while Immortal began to walk out of the room, leaving the door open a crack. He saw her with her underwear and bra on as she placed a bulletproof, leather corset on that exposed an inch of her stomach and emphasized her chest a bit. With desires tempting, he watched as she slid on black tights. "Aside from the fact I know you're looking, I can literally feel your stare!" She yelled from the room.
Immortal chuckled, then walked back into the room. "Glad you noticed."
She put on a short leather jacket a bit longer than the corset, then a skirt. "See? Took me ten minutes to get ready." Immortal and his dirty mind with the mask thought of a joke, but Iris shushed him before he could say anything. "We have people to deal with, remember? They could be getting away."
"That's true, but as long as I'm wasting time with you, then I'll be fine." She nudged him then they fast-walked out of the room and left the castle, heading for the Abandoned City.
Seamus finished taking a shower and getting ready, then grabbed a few guns as he headed out. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary. It was quiet like normally, so he just kicked the little pebbles of rubble that were lying around. He decided to check around the city, since no one was assigned to go there and he had nothing better to do.
As he was engraving a drawing of a cat onto the pavement, he heard noises from afar. Silently, holding his shotgun, he peered over behind a small pile of debris and saw a figure digging at the patches of grass, clawing each and every one of them. The figure sounded frustrated or something, and when Seamus got close enough to him, he saw that the he was a she- Tiffany.
She swiftly turned around and showed off her fiery eyes with a look of anger, mixed with fear. Seamus snuck his hand into the back of his jeans, quickly, where he kept a pocketknife, and before she could throw anything at him, he did it to her first. She dodged it, but it nicked her cheek, causing a slight gash to form.
Seamus felt accomplished, and while she was down, he went to her. He ran at her, and heard her murmur in a croaky voice, "You'll regret this." Then she was gone. He slashed at the air around him, then realizing she was truly gone. He pounded his fist in the ground out of disappointment. Seamus grabbed all of his things and headed back to his house. Once he got there, he quickly dialed the number of The Creatures HQ. After a few rings, Danz picked up.
"Hey, Danz, put this on speaker and listen up." Danz did as he was asked, and everyone at the HQ waited as Seamus spoke up. "I just saw Tiffany. I got a good bit on her, but she ran. No, teleported, but I think she's weak, 'cause she was definitely having a hard time going all Dragon Ball Z on me. The point is, she was digging in some grass looking for God knows what, probably for whatever stupid spell she's trying to make. We need to figure out what she's doing with all the potions and plants and what she's trying to create."
Seamus heard agreements from Ze, Nova, Kootra, and Danz.
"Okay, Danz and Ze, I need you to head out to the Abandoned City and go analyze the area, see if there's any weird plants or... just something. Nova, I need you to ask P-Bat, Clash, and Double about any spells or spell books that they know of, then read 'em."
Nova looked upset. "I have to fucking read?! God damn it!!" Seamus laughed at his misfortune in the background.
Kootra continued after Nova's mini tantrum. "Anyways, we gotta head back to work. Talk to you soon, Seamus." Seamus said his goodbyes, then hung up the only form of technology in his vicinity.
"Well, that could've gone WAY better. God damn, I reeeaallyy wanted to fight today too." Immortal twirled the katana in his hand, admiring it's appearance. Iris came out from behind a stack of debris, and joined Immortal, who was glaring at the Abandoned City.
"Look at the bright side. We can go back home, and have some different fun there." She went in front of him, and played around with the zipper on his jacket. He grinned devilishly, then carrying her bridal style.
He started walking towards the Ice Castle, excited to get to the bedroom and pump her adrenaline.
"You know love, I'd have a lot more energy for you if you used your powers for once." He teased.
She jokingly sighed as she twirled a hand. "Fine."
