Nine months; It's been nine months since Aleks was possessed by power, yet everybody gave him angry, almost disgusted looks. He couldn't blame them, since he still hadn't fully forgiven himself for what he did along with the rest of the gang.

He walked outside along the snow with Sly in a black jacket and black jeans, pacing with his hands in his pockets and wondering how anybody could forgive him, even want to be friends with him after what he did. He just felt lonely, but it's what he deserved.

"You've seen the new baby, right?" Sly asked, trying to bring their spirits up.

Aleks sighed and kept his head down, replying to Sly quietly. "Yeah... She's got Iris' eyes and Seamus' personality... tried to hit me already." He laughed to himself with Sly, but was interrupted as a faint scream was heard in the distance.

Aleks stopped dead in his tracks and looked towards where the noise came from, thinking it was just his imagination or a bad flashback. The scream came again, and it was a girl's.

He looked to Sly, who brought out a small blade from his side belt. Aleks looked at him curiously, wondering why he had a weapon at a celebration.

"It was just in case! Seamus told me I shoul-" A louder, more violent scream came from the area and Aleks ran in, hearing the voice that sounded so familiar to him.

They ran towards the noise in the woods, no matter how creepy and eery it was. The ash that constantly fell like rain dusted his hair, and the fog filled his heart like a virus. This voice sounded so similar... and terrified. She sobbed and screamed, then it all quieted down as he got to the core of the noise.

Lying in the ground was a frail, ripped up, black-haired girl who was shivering and crying, rocking back and forth in the snow. She shivered and shook so much, Aleks could hear her teeth chatter.

Her long, black dress was ripped off to her thighs, as if something in the woods had scratched her lower legs, and she had one combat boot on, the other boot away lying in the snow. He looked at the top of her and saw that the right side of her top half was ripped off, red gashes etched across her chest, fresh and new. Her bra was revealed and her skin was pale, almost blue from the cold, her green cloak yards away from her.

Aleks averted his eyes and took in the situation, finally taking initiative in something. He picked her up bridal style and unzipped his jacket, wrapping her body in it carefully and trying to get her as warm as possible, since she looked hypothermic, and trying to move his sleeves up to his hands so he couldn't feel her skin.

Sly looked at him with a questioning glare, then saw the slashes on her body. Immediately, they ran out of the woods and straight to the house, the girl's body against him freezing and twitching from the cold air. The last thing the guys heard before they got into the house were her breaths shortening and her eyes closing from blood loss.

Iris grew impatient as Lucie continued to cue over the newborn. She floated a few inches off the ground as she squealed at the small features. "Awh look at those little cheeks!"

"Lucie, thank you very much for coming," Kevin said as he began to push her out the door. "But Iris can't be overwhelmed with too many guests, and Aleks and Sly will be here soon."

"Oh, alright, I'll be on my way, but seriously..." She paused to step down to the ground. "That is the cutest baby I have ever seen."

"We know," Seamus sarcastically replied, slowly closing the door on her. She waved goodbye, and flew off, while the silence they longed for finally returned.

The beautiful baby girl that rested in Iris' arms was a spitting image of her namesake. Dove looked just like Iris' passed sister, sparkling eyes and all. It brought both joy and pain to the angel's heart.

Staring at her baby's face, Iris had a look of mixed emotions. Seamus circled around the chair she sat in, and came to the back. He wrapped his arms around her neck, and kissed her cheek. "You alright?" He sweetly asked.

"Yeah," She sighed. "She just... makes me miss my sister. They look so alike, it hurts in a way."

"That's a bad thing?" He questioned, a light smile playing at his lips. "Love, you finally have a piece of your sister back. All you ever wanted was to have Dove back, and you got her."

"I guess you're right." She softly grinned.

Seamus quickly pecked her cheek, then began to walk to the couch, talking over his shoulder as he did so. "I'm always right, aren't I?"

Kevin rolled his eyes with a snit. "Oh, here we go."

"Yes, love, of course you are." She jokingly played along, laughing under her breath.

A knock at the door interrupted their conversation. Kevin stood to answer it, and as he and the guests came back to the living room, Iris was struck speechless to see the girl who laid in Aleks' arms. She swiftly, yet gently, handed Dove to Seamus, then rushed to him.

"Oh... my God." Iris whispered, stunned by the girl. "You're... alive."
