“So, how long have you guys been… dating…?” Kevin tensed up at the question, and stupid fucking Immortal made no attempt to help him out. Worst fake boyfriend ever.

“A few weeks now… We actually realized that we really liked each other a while ago, but never made any attempts to date until now.” Immortal nudged Kevin in his side roughly, which made him bite the inside of his mouth, hard.

“Interesting…” Tiffany held a certain shock in her voice, although he could tell she wasn’t buying it. They continued the trail towards her small house in silence. The air outside was cold, and Immortal was shivering a bit. Tiffany eyed Kevin as if waiting for something to happen and he glanced at her once before grabbing Immortal's shoulder and pulled him closer to warm him up.

He crossed his arms as if he hated what they were doing, but Kevin couldn’t blame him. Finally they arrived to the house, which was respectively large. It was a one-story on the outside, but on the inside it had somehow expanded to, well almost the size of Immortal’s house. It was more rustic and dim-lit, the stairs mahogany and a branch chandelier hung above the wide room.

“Welcome to my house. Some are more welcome than others here, but oh well.” She sent an annoying smile towards Kevin, which forced him to roll his eyes. “Dinner will just be sent to your door because, let’s face it, I’d rather eat dinner alone than with you.” She started walking towards the left of the stairs and Kevin followed, his arm wrapped around Immortal’s shoulder still.

She stopped at a door and opened it, a vast bedroom lying before them. There was no wooden chandeliers, just two dim lanterns and a bathroom with more lanterns and candles lined up. It looked almost… romantic.

“There’s normal stuff in the bathroom, clothes somewhere here, and some remotes to dim the lights or whatever it is you want to do.” She started to walk out the door then stopped and spoke through a crack of it.

“Don’t make too much noise while I’m sleeping, I gotta wake up early to go get more stuff. Bye.” Tiffany slammed the door and they could hear her heels clicking away outside.

Immediately Immortal collapsed face first into the bed, making fake crying noises. “What the fuck have you gotten me into… I don’t want to do this anymore, God damn it.” He griped.

Kevin scoffed at him. “I just came to stop by and check on you, not to become fucking gay and make out with you in front of your ex. She probably would’ve killed me if I wasn’t your 'boyfriend' anyways. Would you rather have me dead or be gay for a few days? Although, I really can’t tell what you’d decide anymore based on your stance in this battle.” He sat in a chair near a vanity and crossed his legs, sighing to himself and closing his eyes. His hand supported his head as he moped.

“I don’t want any of my friends to die… I mean, one of 'em maybe, but just… Let’s not talk about this right now. I want some sleep. It’s been a long day.” He got up from the bed and headed towards the bathroom, shutting the door and leaving Kevin alone for a few minutes.

Before he could drift off to sleep, Immortal opened the door again, seemingly angry at nothing. He slid off his shoes and fell face-first into bed, not even pulling the sheets towards him. Kevin slowly got up and walked to the bathroom himself, getting himself ready and walking back out in a span of a few minutes. He grabbed for the remotes on the dresser, wondering how Tiffany could get so much stuff that looked like it cost a fortune.

He pushed a random button and the fireplace burnt up, causing Immortal to stir. Kevin quickly pushed the button again then pushed another one, which filled the room with pure darkness. He tried to walk towards the bed and tripped, falling on Immortal’s legs.
