Fallen Star

Hello travelers from afar,

You have come upon a fallen star...

Pierced through the heart with a silvery dart.

I have fallen to earth,

Though I once did shine with the rest of my kind.

Till another, a lover

Turned from me and with a broken heart,

I fell apart.

Now here I lie in shattered pieces,

Watching life go by,

And wishing I could die.
