I stormed into the house that afternoon, I didn't want to talk to anyone, but no one seemed to understand that.

"Hey Sweetie, how was your first day?" Jessica asked.

I rolled my eyes, "I'd rather not talk about it, thanks."

Daniel seemed a little confused about my behavior too, "Taryn, what's your problem?" he asked as he stood in the doorway of my bedroom.

"Just leave me alone."

He shook his head and walked into the room, "I can't do that."

"And why not?"

"Because you have to pick out the clothes that I wear tomorrow."

I groaned, "Oh, that stupid bet! I don't care about it anymore! You don't have to cross dress. You're off the hook, okay? Just leave me alone."

He sat down on my bed, "Why the sudden change of heart?"

"Maybe because you're an asshole."

"What?"

"Does this ring a bell? 'she's a complete girly girl who gets whatever she wants by going to 'Daddy Dearest' and asking him to let her withdraw money from his checking account'? Do you remember saying that?"

Daniel looked down at his feet, ashamed, "Who told you that I said that?"

"Does it matter? How many people did you tell?"

"Taryn, you have to understand, I was upset, I didn't know you then. I would never say that about you now!"

"But you still said it! That's why you told me to stick around you! I totally understand now! If I stuck around you you could censor what people said to me and you could make sure that no one told me what you had said."
