As soon as I entered the club the music flooded my ears. No wonder I was able to hear it from outside, this music is so loud. The DJ was playing a dance mix I've never heard before but it was really catchy. before I know it I'm bobbing my head to the music.

I look back to where Ace stood and saw he was no longer there, his friends are gone too.

"Great bring me to a club and leave me,"I muttered.

Someone tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around. In front of me stood my ex boyfriend Zack.

" What are you doing here!?"

"I live in the area and this is my favorite club!"

"Since when do you live here, are you stalking me!?"

"No!"

Oh, by the way, we had to yell to hear each other over the music. We had ended our relationship on good terms, we just weren't right for each other. We became best friends.I gave him a hug.

'"I missed you so much, why didn't you tell me this is where you moved to!?"

"I don't know, I never thought it mattered!"

"Oh, let's go outside where it's quieter!"

I grabbed his hand and led him outside.

"So, what college are you going to?"

"None."

"How come."

"Focusing on music. Are you rooming with a boy or a girl?" He asked.

"Does everyone know about that but me?"

He raised an eyebrow.

"A dickhead of a boy," I answered.

The happiness suddenly dropped from his face. The thing about Jack is he's super protective.

"How come he's a dickhead? Did he hurt you!?"

"No of course not he's just..."

He's just what? I barely know the guy what right do I have to judge him.

"It's complicated."

He looked like he wanted to say more but instead, he tried to change the subject.

"How come you're at a club? Your not exactly a clubber, no offense."

"None taken, Ace brought me here."

"Who's Ace?"

"My roommate."

"And you let him?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Well, he brought me here in that." I gestured to the car.

His eyes widened and he twitched. He closed his eyes and coughed.

"I still don't like him."

His voice came out squeaky and I laughed.

"You haven't even met him."

"I still don't."

"Well if you don't like him now, you'll hate him when you meet him."

He chuckled. "I believe you."
