Darkness surrounds me and thrust my arms in front of me to feel around me. My fingers touch a sticky substance and I pull the away quickly. I bring them to my nose, to see if I recall the scent. Something metallic caresses my nostrils and I shriek as I realise what my hand made contact with.
I stumble backwards, away from the viscous liquid, but then trip on something behind me. I smash my head against something hard and rock like on the floor. I shuffle around on the ground to get my bearings. the darkness becomes suffocating and then all at once. Its gone. Just like that.
After my eyes become accustomed to the brightness of the scenery around me I start to take in essential details. I'm in a clearing in a forest. Not far away from me is the edge of a forest; in which I can swear I saw a pair of eyes looking at me from beyond. The tree in front of me is covered in thick blood and after looking myself over I'm reassured that it hadn't come from me.
"Darling where are you. We need to go." A panicked voice calls out to me. "Eleanor love. We need to leave now. Its not safe." the voice get closer and sharper in intensity. I turn the other way and dash past the tree line and into the underbrush. "Please Ellie we Have to GO! Its not safe for you out here anymore, Your disappearance has been noticed."
Then I hear it... The first growl, a simple warning. I turn yet again. heading away from both the man still calling to me and the growls of the, presumably, hungry beast behind me. Its growls grew louder just as the panicked shouts did. Tears streamed down my cheeks but I didn't know why. "AWAY FROM HOME, ELLIE!! DON'T GO HOME!"
Suddenly everything just stopped; the shouting, the growling, everything but my heavy panting, and then "RUN! RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK!" his anguished cries branded into my mind as I raced through the underbrush and pushed my way through the thorns on the Lilt tree's. Tears stream faster down my cheeks as I race away from nothing I know but everything I miss.
Shrieking laughter like that of a banshee echoed through the forest. Cackling and Howling chasing me away. Words I don't understand flow from my lips in a whispered prayer to Gaia and I run and I run.
Then I fall....

All I see is the dark red patterns of my eyelids. I try to open my eyes but the light shocks me and I close them straight away. The second time I try it , I do it slower and I am shocked to see a group of men standing around me whispering.
They all whip around at the realisation that I'm awake and I realise that it is the same men that had held me down in my room. My breathing calms and my words slow. However my heart still feels as if its about to leap from my chest and run to Valeria.
"Oh it, uh its you guys again." Turning to survey the group again I pick a boy with real nice aura and I address him. "Hi. The name's Ella-Rae and you." He seems surprised that I'm talking to him and even points to his chest and turns around to see if I'm addressing somebody behind him.
"Wait. Are you talking to me?" He seems really confused. Does he think me incapable of interacting with a being other than the silver-eyed leader of the group.
"Well I'm not talking to the ghost behind you."
"Oh, well in that case, the name's Caspar." His green eyes flick behind in as if actually expecting to see a ghost behind him.
"Cute. Do you wanna help me up and take me to get some food because, I haven't eaten since my meal last night." I stuck my hand out waiting for him to pull me up.
"Um, sure" he grabbed my hand and yanked me up, nearly pulling my arm out of its socket; but lemme just say, if his bulging muscles weren't the definition of Gaia's gift to women, then I don't know what one is. Okay I'm over it, back on topic.
"Great." Still eyeing his arms, as we walked down some halls; you cant blame me, I've been locked away for most of my life but I'm also a teenage girl with hormones and matron gave me all the talks, the night before I left NaC. I wonder what she's doing right now, and what about Billy. Maybe he's finally realised that you cant summon a demon to possess the body of your dead wife after you brutally murdered her.
Damn I feel sorry for her....
"Hey." Fingers clicking in my face aren't the best way to be brought out of daydreaming but when its by somebody so damn fine well, its kinda hard to be mad. "We're here."
"Thanks for bringing me." With That I make my walk away and into the large empty room. A whole side of it seems to have been completely taken down and where it should have been leads to a large overgrown field, saturated with flowers of varying colours and breeds.
"Ooo pretty. Me likely" my first action - though I really want to run naked across the beautiful field - is to find where that delicious scent of untold wonders was wafting from.
My nose takes the lead and when I open my eyes to see where I arrived I find myself in front if a delectable display of desirable delicacies that I immediately want to try. From scoops of creamy deliciousness, also known as ice-cream, to savoury slices of bliss (the names of which I'm not a hundred percent sure on.) I piled my plate high, when it was tall enough to have me worrying about it all falling; I struggled over to the large field and took a seat in a group of bright pink and golden flowers.
*Time Lapse to after she's finished eating.*
I'm currently lying on my back in a bunch of flowers watching the cute flying people play games above my head. At first they wanted me to leave, but now they seem to want to show me all of their games. Each one of them are about the size of my hand and their wings have unique designs and patterns. They leave a slight glitter trail wherever they go and they're so joyful and playful that its hard not to get attached to them. So when someone comes over swatting them away it's hard not getting defensive.
"Hey leave them alone. They aren't doing any harm." but by the time I can jump to their defence they've already flown off to Gaia knows where. "Great, now you've scared them away."
The girl that was swatting them away looked down at me confused "That, uh, that was kinda the point. They were attacking you. Weren't they?" Her head tilts to the side and Raven black hair falls past her shoulders.
"No, they were showing me their games and now they probably wont come back." I'm dejected at the thought of never seeing my little friends again.
"Oh, then I'm sorry. But they're not usually the friendliest little creatures. More than one person has fallen to their malicious ways." I chose to ignore the way she spoke about my new little family and studied her instead. Her deep brown eyes spoke sincerity, but the sly smirk on her lips spoke differently.
"It's Fine.I'm E-"
"Eleanor. I know, I was in the assembly. You should come sit down in the the cafeteria with the rest of the students. Oh and the Head master wants a word with you when lunch is finished." She turns to leave my little sanctuary. Before I follow her I pick up the sweet flowers, the Little flying people had picked for me before turning and walking back through the wall and scurrying to catch up to the girl.
"What's your name??"
"Kaida."
"Little Dragon. Such a beautiful name." I had a lot of free time in the hospital and I learn't a lot about many different cultures and name meanings. She seems surprised that I know the meaning of her name.
"I don't think so. My name is actually incredibly ironic considering my.. gift." now I'm curious. "But alas you'll just have to wait and see. Ah we're here."
