Aphmau: Meet me at *insert café name*?

I sighed, considering the invitation. After the trip to Pikoro and the concert, I was just about ready to snap. The exhaustion and frustration from both the trip and writing songs was getting to my head, and I was mercilessly bending.

Though, maybe time with Aphmau wouldn't be such a bad thing. Besides, she gave off some sort of soothing feeling, almost as if she were surrounded by an aura of calmness.

Garroth: I'll see you there.

I gathered what little I needed from the mess in my bedroom. My apartment was cozy, but big enough to fit my liking. It was a two bedroom, 850 square foot rental, and I used the second bedroom as a makeshift music room and recording studio.

The evening sun cast an orange glow across the floor from my window, and the sound of cars and horns signaled that people were leaving their jobs. I locked my apartment door and set off down the stairs and sidewalk, sidestepping to avoid others who were walking.

The walk was curtly ended by the café coming into view on my right, and I stepped inside, finding that Aphmau had yet to arrive. I sat on a table in the corner, not wanting to be of view to the others. I also knew that Aphmau would want to stay hidden from her fangirls and fanboys.

I traced the designs of the wood on the table as I sat there, waiting for Aphmau. After somewhere near five minutes, the bell to the door rang and I looked up, catching the familiar umber eyes.

"So," Aphmau heaved her oversized bag into the table, "How have things been?"

"It's two days after the performance and I still feel groggy," I replied, resuming back to my tracing.

She only nodded in response. After a minute of silence she finally spoke again, "What do you want to drink? It's on me."

"I can't let you do that, Aphmau."

She pressed a finger to her lips, "Shh... Just tell me what you want."

I grinned, "Black coffee, nothing added."

I was already reaching for my billfold and setting money in front of her seat by the time she returned with the drinks, my coffee and herself with rosemary tea.

"You remind me a lot of Levin, now that I think about it," she said suddenly.

"Huh?" I remembered hearing the name before, but was bewildered of who this person was.

"Levin, my son. You two are very similar. You both have pretty much the same hair, and there isn't much of a difference in the eyes."

I shrugged, "I have yet to see him."

She smiled softly, "Why don't you come visit Saturday?"

It being Wednesday, I at least had some time to myself during that period, so I gladly accepted.

There was another long period of silence. I looked up at her, "So are you and Laurence a thing?"

"What?" I knew a struck a nerve at her reaction.

So recently I've had a minor case of writer's block. Because of this, my update schedule has been sized down to Fridays only.

Also, I update the playlists often, so be sure to check those out.

Thanks for reading! Mwah!
