Calum's pov:
I woke up in the morning with my question still stuck in my mind. Tonight I'm gonna sneak out again, I told Emberlynn I'll be going there again today. I like how she answers my questions without complaining about the billions of questions I ask. I know I'm a really curious person. I mean I need to know these things; I mean like when you're new to a place, don't you like to explore new places around and find out new stuff about it? I think I will need to tell them that I've been going to the house near ours soon; but I'm a bit scared of what they're gonna think about me but at the same time I also don't want them to find out on their own. I'm so confused about what I should do, someone help me!
I went to the kitchen and made myself some breakfast. I was still thinking about what I should do; I mean what's worse me telling the guys or the guys finding out on their own. I think I should tell them because if they find out on their own it'll be much worse.
"Guys, I need to tell you all something, its important I think, but can all of you please not interrupt me while I'm speaking?" I say. "What is it Cal?" Michael questions. "Yeah, what is it??" Luke repeats what Michael just said. "Just tell us already" Ashton says impatiently. "I-I um I have done som-t-t-hi-ng I wa-s
t-ol-d n-n-ot to" I say stuttering. "I knew there was something up with him" Michael says. "You can continue" Ashton assures me. " I-I we-n-t to t-he ho-u-se ne-xt to ours" I say still stuttering because I'm scared of their responses. "You what?!" Luke who was drinking water spits his water on me to say that. "Yeah, I'm sorry I've been hiding it for about three days" I say. "Its okay Ca---" Ashton starts. "It's not okay Ash, how can you think that's okay? He didn't listen to us and you think that's okay what if we lost him!" Michael says almost shouting. "Calum, what the hell is wrong with you?!" Luke says almost shouting as well. Their reactions were just as I thought they would be. I go to my room and lock myself in because I don't wanna hear another word about it.
Michael's reaction was definitely the worst, then Luke's as he actually spat out his water all over me and Ash I don't think it bothers him too much. I need to take a shower since I have Luke's spitty water all over me. But first I need some time alone to cool off after what happened.
I took a shower and went to my room. I needed to find a way to see Emberlynn but I don't know how, I have a feeling someone is gonna creep up on me and not let me go. And I have a weird feeling that someone is Mikey. I don't know what to do. I need to go there cause she'd be waiting for me and I don't wanna let her down.
I sat on my bed and thought and thought of how I'll be able to go there. Then something strange popped into my mind.
"Mikey, can you please come here for a minute?" I called for Michael to come to my room. "WHAT IS IT CAL?!" Michael shouted from wherever the heck he was, at least he heard me. "Come to my room and I'll tell you" I replied back. "Okay I'll be there" he said back.
He came to my room and knocked on the door since it was locked. "Who is it?" I asked not sure if it was him or any of the other guys. "Mikey" He reassured me. I unlocked the door and said "you can come in"
He came in "so, what is it you wanna tell me?" he asked. "I need to go to the house next to ours soon" I told him. "Why is it so important?" he questions me. "Because I told someone I'll be there" I replied. "You're not going there until you tell me who it is and why you need to go there today" he replied firmly. "It's a girl, and I need to go there because she'll be waiting for me to go over there and if I don't go it will be disappointing" I say back to him. "Fine, you can go but I'm coming with you" he replies. "No Mikey, you can't come with me, she doesn't know you're coming" I tell him. "Fine, you can go alone but I'm coming with you tomorrow" He replied. "Okay" I said back to him.
Once the coast was clear I went out through my window. I crept slowly through our garden until I reached Emberlynn's house.
When I reached I knocked on the door not too loud though but loud enough for her to hear me. She opened the door with a smile on her face. "Hi" I greeted her. "Hi" she greeted me.
"So what's today's question?" She asked me. "What do they not want the cops to find out about?" I asked her. She paused for a long time before answering. "They kidnap young teens and rape them and give them illegal drugs and alcoholic drinks, they kidnapped me too but they use me as a house slave." Silence filled the air around us, both of us were speechless.
Then suddenly I remembered the reason allowed to be I'm here without anyone saying anything. "Umm Emberlynn, can I bring one of my friends along with me tomorrow?" I asked her. "Okay" She replied in a low soft and a tiny bit unsure voice. "Just make sure the both of you leave on time" she added. "Yeah, I'll make sure we leave before those kidnappers return" I said back to her. "I think I better leave now, I'll see you tomorrow Emberlynn" "Bye see you and your friend tomorrow" she replied. Then I left her house.
