A few months later...

Calum's pov:
Emberlynn stayed with us until we found out about her real parents who luckily lived in the same place we were living. They found out our contact details and managed to contact us.

Thankfully they remembered that they had a child that got missing about 12 years ago. They said that they would come and see her to take her home.

After like a weeks time they turned up to see Emberlynn and took her back with them. And gave us their phone number so we could still visit Emberlynn.

It turns out that Emberlynn also has a younger sister as her parents thought they'll never get Emberlynn back. Emberlynn and her sister get along really well and now Emberlynn's a lot happier.

We had found Emberlynn's parents as the cops had got another article published about Emberlynn in the papers explaining the full story and a picture of her and her parents happened to read that article and called us as our number was mentioned in the article and let us know that they were her real parents.

Emberlynn finally got everything that she wanted but she couldn't have and I'm really happy for her to finally be happy after 12 years of being treated badly and living like a slave.

Anyways we're a lot happier too as the house that the kidnappers once stayed in was available to be rented again and a group of people about our age moved there.

Everyone in the neighbourhood is also happy and they've stopped acting weird.

We have found out that a lot of people who stay around here are actually nice and they were only acting weirdly as they were threatened by the kidnappers.

Everything is the way we expected it to be when moving in together now.

I have also been a bit more open with stuff nowadays; I tell the other guys a lot of things and don't hide too much from them...

Everything has changed for the better. But one thing that'll always stay the same is my curious mind that's full of curiosity.
