Michael's pov:
"So Cal, what new info did you find out from Emberlynn last night?" I asked Calum. "I found out that our task is a bit more dangerous than what we think it is" he says. "What how?" I asked him. "Those kidnappers are either gonna kidnap us or try to kill us, which are both bad" he says. "Seems dangerous" I replied. "Just don't tell Ash we need to keep it to ourselves, cause if we do tell Ash we're going to have to need a change of plans" he says. "Yeah, Ash is a bit safety concerned sometimes" I reply.
I was a bit afraid of doing my task after what Calum had told me, but I'll do it because I want to show them that I'm brave.
Calum's pov:
I don't know what to do, this task is too hard how am I going to manage it, plus it's way too late for a change of plans. I'm going to have to do it anyways I'm the one who got everyone into this shit. Well it's not shit exactly we're saving Emberlynn from the terror of a life she lives.
Anyways, we need to plan a bit more like how we can put our plan into action and stuff like that.
"So I was thinking we need to get a bit more planned" I tell Ashton. "Yeah, I guess we haven't planned much yet" He replies. "Let's call the others to your room so that we can plan a bit more" I say to him. "Yeah, you call Luke I'll call Mikey" he says. "Okay" I agree with him.
"Luke, can you come to Ash's room as soon as you can? We need to discuss some more stuff about the plan" I say after Luke let me in his room. "Sure, I'll be right there" he replies.
Ashton's pov:
I knocked on Michael's room door hoping he'll open it so I could tell him about the meeting. "Hey Ash, so what are you here for?" He asks me. "There's a meeting in my room I hope you don't mind coming as soon as you can" I tell him. "Sure thing, I'll be right there" he replies.
Once everyone was here and we all settled down from whatever we were doing. We started to plan a bit more. We planned that we put our plan in action tomorrow. I don't know why but I noticed Michael and Calum making awkward faces at each other. "Whats up with you too?" I questioned. "Umm... you tell him Cal" Michael says. "We found out that our tasks are a lot harder than we thought" Calum says. "So, you guys want a last minute change of plans?" I ask them. "Umm... no I think we'll manage, right Mikey?" Calum says. "Yeah, I guess so" Michael replies.
"So, what made you guys think that your task is harder?" I asked them. "It's just a bit risky going to a house nobody dares to take a step into" Michael says. "Yep it's true but we'll do it for Emberlynn, won't we Mikey?" Calum says. "Yeah of course we will" Michael replies. "We don't give a f*ck about what people are going to think about us either" Calum adds. "Yep were gonna do it no matter what" Michael says.
Michael's pov:
It was another sleepless night thinking about how I was gonna do my bit in the plan. I crept to Calum's room hoping he'll be awake too. I knocked on the door slowly and silently so that he's the only one who hears it if he's awake.
To my luck he was awake, at least I think he was. He opened the door. "Hey Mikey, what's up?" Calum says. "Cal, I can't sleep" I say. "Why not Mike?" He asks. "I just can't stop thinking about the plan" I tell him. "Maybe we could chat about it cause I can't sleep either" He tells me. "Okay" I agree with him.
"So what are you so worried about?" He asks me. "I'm scared of just going there knowing it's dangerous" I tell him. "Aw I feel you, even I'm kinda scared to be honest" He says. "Let's just try to think positive, okay?" He adds whilst hugging me. "Yeah I'll try" I say. "Ash is gonna lock the door and we'll probably just be in there for a bit, it depends how long the cops take to arrive" He says. "Yeah, hopefully they don't take long to arrive" I say.
Calum's pov:
I'm scared too. I'm trying my hardest to think that everything is gonna be alright, but my conscience keeps telling me that it's not. I can't just convince myself everything is gonna be alright cause that isn't working I've tried about a million times.
"Hello Calum!" I was shaken out of thought the second I heard Michael say that. "Um I'm sorry Mikey, I got lost on a thought, what were we talking about again?" I ask him. "We were talking about the plan, remember?" He replies. "Oh yeah now I remember" I tell him. "I'm still
still scared" he says. "Sometimes we need to face our fears, after that we may find out that they're not scary at all" I say. And after that the two of us fall asleep.
