Aelix woke up in a jolt, gasping for air. The first thing that came to his mind was Amethyst. Dream walkers were almost as rare as warlocks. He started to doubt she was even a witch and not something else, something more complex and dangerous than a witch.

He turned his head to his side, and as expected Amethyst was not beside him. He knew this would happen and that there was nothing between them but he couldn't stop that feeling that his heart has been ripped out of his chest.

He quickly got out of bed and got dressed. He got out of his room and knocked on Amethyst's door. After a few seconds with no response, he decided to enter her room anyway. Her bed was made and it was empty, the nightgown she wore last night was neatly folded on the covers. She was no where to be seen.

He left her room and walked to the training room, hoping he would find her there. Unfortunately, it was empty too.

There was only one place left where he was sure he'd find her. He practically ran to the library and opened the secret door to reveal the strairway. The torches were blazing and alight, which means the princess is down there. He descended the stairs and entered the giant magic room. The familiar feeling of magic and power engulfing him in a warm embrace.

Sure enough he found the princess sprawled on the floor with almost half of the books that were on the shelves opened in front of her.

She looked up at him when he entered, and he almost took a step back. Her beauty never failed to take him off guard. She was gorgeous with her big purple eyes and her pale smooth skin, and he was immediatly taken back to this night where he had his arm wrapped around her waist. The things he would do to touch her skin again, to caress her face, to run his fingers through her silky black hair. He felt at lost for air, and averted his gaze from her and closed his eyes so his breathing could be back to normal. His heart beats faster everytime he thinks of her. He didn't know what that feeling was, that feeling of pure happiness and warmth everytime he saw her and his mind would immediatly start showing him scenes that would never happen between the two of them.

"I can't find anything about this kamisama thing. I looked through almost every book I could find. Though I found some useful things about dreamwalkers. It's such a fascinating power you know? To be able to enter someone else's dreams. But sometimes it could get dangerous and if I got hurt inside the dream I het hurt in reality. And worst case scenario I could get stuck in the dream and never come back."

Aelix nodded, and crouched next to her. "I'm not so sure you will find something about kamisama in these books. The creature you saw in your dreams is strange and I don't think is mentioned in any of those books. I think only someone powerful and old can help us."

"What about Nate? Don't you think he might have something? Some kind of information?"

"Yes maybe. If you want to see him, we should go today, so we can go look for those witches the day after tomorrow. I think it's time to go. I suggest you tell your people that too."

Amethyst nodded and stood up, brushing the dust off her dress. She wanted to look kind of feminin today so she wore her dark red velvet dress and wore a gold necklace that her mother gave her on her 16th birthday.

"I'll announce the news to the kingdome first and then we'll get going to find the warlock. How long will it take to get to him?"

Aelix smirked. "Oh don't worry about that. We'll use magic to get there."

Amethyst frowned but did not ask any more questions. She and Aelix put everything back in its place. As she crouched to get the last book, so did Aelix and their hands touched. She quickly dropped the book and held her hand. She felt something electric run through her when her fingers touched Aelix's skin. They both straightened and looked at each other's eyes.
