Chapter 32: Harsh truth

Leon: (Looked at her) Vilu?

Vilu stood there without saying a word. Before she knew it, she was having an emotional breakdown.

Vilu: (Started crying)

Leon: Vilu, why are you crying?

Vilu: (Felt down to her knees)

Leon: (Held her)

Vilu: (Crying) Don't apologize leon. I should be apologizing. Its all my fault Leon. Everything I do is wrong. I do unpredictable things and I make people mad. What is wrong with me?

Leon: Sweetie, nothing is wrong with you. Everyone does unpredictable things. Even me. Your not the only one.

Vilu: Everyone I meet hates me...

Leon: That is not true. I don't hate you.

Vilu: You don't now. But if you were to think about all the things I did to you, maybe you will.

Leon: Violetta...

Vilu: (Crying) Leon, I "cheated" on you with Tomas because I still had feelings for him. I told you I hated Diego but then I ended up kissing him and then dating him after that. I told you to stay away from me and I told you to forget about me. I pushed you away. When we got together again, we broke up and I pushed you further away again by dressing up as Roxy to spy on you because I was scared to loose you. Everything I do is wrong. No matter how hard I try to love you, I fail.

Leon: Violetta-

Vilu: (Crying) Can't you see Leon?! I am the cause of heartbreak. I know you love me but admit it that I was the hardest person you have ever had to love in your entire life.

Leon: (Started at her)

Vilu: And now because of me, Francesca is going to replace me with Lara.

Leon: Vilu, that is not your fault.

Vilu: (Sobbed) Yes it is. I'm a mess Leon. Just leave me. I don't deserve all this. I'm better off alone. Just file a divorce and let me be a widow. I deserve to be punished. I-

Leon: ENOUGH Violetta!

Vilu: (Looked at him)

Leon: (Held her shoulders tight) LISTEN to me. You are the first girl I have ever loved in my entire life. Yes, you were the hardest to love and yes, you did cause a lot of misery to me but let's not forget that I did the same thing to you. We both are equal. But If there is one thing I know is that we will never ever stop loving each other till the day we die. We met each other for a reason. We fell in love several tines for a reason. And we broke up for a reason. You deserve nothing but the love I have for you.

Vilu: (Crying)

Leon: Look at me Violetta. (Pulled her chin directly to his face) Do you love me?

Vilu: (Stared at him)

Leon: Because I know I love you so, so much. And I am not going to let this situation break us apart again. Do you feel the same way?

Vilu: (Paused to think for a moment)

Leon: (Sighed and got up)

Vilu: No Please, please don't leave me Leon. I need you. I need your love. I can't do this alone. (Cried)

Leon: (Smiled) Violetta... You know that I will NEVER leave you. I love you too much to do that. Your my life.

Vilu: (Cried) I'm sorry for ever hurting you with my action and words. I'm so sorry Leon. I just- I just-

Leon : (Stroked her hair) Shhh... Its alright princess. We'll never be apart okay? Come on, get up. Let's go down and have a romantic dinner together. I'll put some music and pour some wine for us. And we'll just forget this ever happened. After that if you want, we can do whatever we want. What do you say?

Vilu: But its 9:00pm.

Leon: Its never too late. (Smiled)

Vilu: (Looked at him and developed a smile)

Leon: (Smiled) I know that smile.

Vilu: Yeah, you got me. Alright, I'm in.
(Smiled)

Leon: Great. So you go and wash up and I'll get everything ready.

Vilu: (Smiled) Have I told you that I have the most beautiful boyfriend ever? (Smiled)

Leon: Boyfriend?

Vilu: (Smiled) Yeah, your not only my husband. Your my boyfriend too. Well, I still like to think that way. I feel like husband is too "extreme" here. I want to feel like we both are young and not married like those days. Not because I don't like being married to you but because-

Leon: Alright, I get it Vilu. I get it. (Laughed)

Vilu: (Smiled at him)

Leon: (Smiled at her)

Vilu stared and looked at him for a long time in hapiness and love but suddenly it all changed. Her smile faded away and she was more serious.

Leon: Is something wrong Vilu?

Vilu: Yes... Yes there is. There is something I have been willing to tell you earlier but I couldn't because you made the mood so happy and cheerful and I didn't want to break it but I have no choice now. You need to know.

Leon: Know what?

Vilu: (Sigh) Promise me you won't blow up?

Leon: Alright, I promise.

Vilu: (Sighed and looked at him) I was the one who wrote that letter "about" Lara...
