Chapter 64: Fights and cancellation

Diego: Look Fran, I can explain.

Fran: Oh yeah?! Well I'd like to hear it. 

Diego: The only reason why I never told him was that because I didn't want him to worry about me or what I do.

Fran: By not calling him or even contacting him, Your making him even more worried. 

Diego: I get that, but it's complicated. I just wanted to be free a little. 

Fran: FREE?! Diego, you spent your whole life 'free' and away from your parents. No one cared about you or what you did. And now that when one of them actually wants to care about you, you don't want it?! Then why the hell did you even come to this country to find for your father in the first place?!

Vilu: Fran, please don't....

Diego: Look, I'm sorry Fran. I just don't think I feel the same like how I did.

Fran: So what are you saying?! That you regret coming to this country to find your father?!

Diego: (Sighed)

Fran: That you regret coming to this country, attending the studio and meeting me?!

Diego: Okay Fran, that's not what I said, you know that's not true.

Fran: Well you did say you don't feel the same.

Diego: Look Fran, please stop pressuring me. I can't take it.

Fran: So NOW it's MY FAULT?!

Leon: Francesca-

Fran: STAY OUT of this Leon.

Diego: I never said it was your fault Fran. I just don't know what is happening okay. I just need some time to think about everything.

Fran: You know what, me too!

Diego: What are you saying?!

Vilu: Yeah what are you saying Fran?!

Fran: I'm ending our engagement Diego.

Diego: WHAT?!

Vilu: Francesca, HOW COULD YOU-

Leon: Fran, have you thought this through?!

Diego: Francesca, please....

Fran: No Diego. I won't tolerate this. If your father finds out about this, he'll be so mad at the both of us. And I'm not ready to get a lecture from him especially because he's going to be my father in Law. It's going to ruin everything. 

Diego: So what are we right now?!

Fran: You tell me!

Diego: Are we still a couple?!

Fran: That depends.

Diego: On what?!

Fran: On YOU!

Diego: What?!

Fran: I want you to tell Gregorio the truth!

Diego: EVERYTHING?!

Fran: Yes. And being the man that he is, he will be mad. 

Diego: Exactly, so how am I supposed to deal with him?!

Fran: That is up to you. 

Diego: Fran, I can't risk of ruining my relationship with my dad.

Fran: You've ALREADY ruined your relationship with him by not calling, texting or telling him the truth. I don't want this to end up like last year again with You and him fighting. You know I had to lock you both in the dancing room just so you could talk things out. But NO, it became worse. I don't want to deal with it THIS TIME! And I don't care what you do, but you'll have to find a way to tell him the truth without him getting mad. Because if you don't, then we're officially over.
