Chapter 30: Betrayal?

Cami: Hi fran...

Fran: Hi Cami. Listen, I don't have much time. I need to talk to Violetta about something important.

Vilu: Well Uhm... Come in-

Fran: No, there's no need for that.

Lara: We know Violetta, We know.

Vilu: Know about what?

Lara: Don't act innocent.

Vilu: I don't understand.

Lara: Oh, you don't? Well read this! (Took out the letter from her pocket and gave it to her)

Vilu: (Read it)

To: Lara
Hello Lara. I need to tell you something but I couldn't tell you directly so I'm writing to you a letter. Look, I know that we haven't been the best of friends and I know that we were just starting to become one but that doesn't give you the right to steal my best friend Francesca from me and have her all to yourself. That's just plain selfish. And I hate selfish people. Just get over the fact that I won and that Leon is now mine and not yours. You didn't have to go and steal my bestfriend from me just to prove me otherwise. That's messed up. So let's summarize. You first stealed leon from me and now you want to steal Francesca?! Not happening. Now listen to me, I want you to say away from her and get her away from you. If you don't do as I say, you will regret it. You have been warned.

Leon and cami: (Shocked)

Vilu: (Set the paper down) I DIDN'T write this.

Fran: Oh yeah? Then Who did?

Vilu: I- I don't know. But I SWEAR I didn't write this.

Lara: Oh yeah?! If It was someone else who wrote this, Then how did that person know that I had an affair with Leon?!

Fran: And I can't believe that you did all this out of Jealousy. I thought you were my bestfriend. You know that I'll never leave you. How could you do this and ask Lara to stay away from me?!

Vilu: Alright, look. Yes I admit I was upset that Francesca and Lara were becoming so close and that they bonded well. You can even ask Cami and Leon. In fact, that was what I was ranting about to them before you two came here. But I swear upon everyone here that I didn't write that letter. That's not me.

Lara: Sounds a little too convenient I would say.

Fran: She's right Violetta.

Vilu: (Sigh) Cami, you don't believe them do you?! I would never do that.

Cami: ...........

Vilu: Cami?!

Cami: Look, I really don't want to take sides but all this is starting to become too obvious.

Vilu: What are you saying?! So you don't believe me now?

Cami: Well, in the room just now you did tell me how you resent Lara and how you wish she would stay away from Fran so that you and her will be able to live in peace without any disturbance.

Vilu: (Panicked) Shhh, I told you not to say that to anybody.

Lara: (Laughed) What's wrong Violetta? Nervous?!

Vilu: No...

Fran: Coincidence? I think not. The letter states exactly that you were jealous of me and Lara's relationship. You even admitted it yourself. And the fact that you told Cami that you wished Lara would stay away from me so that she won't be of any disturbance to our friendship made this entire thing even more suspicious.
