Chapter 38: Forgive and Forget

Leon: (Got up) Lara. What are you doing here?

Lara: What am I doing here? You should know VERY well what Im doing here since you were the one who KNEW EVERYTHING and kept it a secret.

Vilu: Look Lara, I don't have much time-

Lara: Oh, you don't?! Cause If you didn't have much time, you wouldn't have "Accidentally" written and sent that letter to me. INSTEAD, You tried to LIE and say you did it purposely and then made up the excuse that you did it because you were jealous of me but in actually fact, you just wrote it to let your feelings out. Why VIOLETTA?! Why?

Vilu: ..........

Lara: Do you really want me to hate you that much?

Vilu: I'm just tired okay. All my life, I've always been the "Innocent" one. And when something goes wrong and they blame me, I'll always end up saying I didn't do it. But when they try to blame me even more, I'll keep denying that I didn't do it. So why keep saying "No I didn't do it" when no one wants to believe you. Might as well just go with their version.

Lara: But Violetta, that is not right. Your just being hypocritical towards yourself. If you didn't do something, just say you didn't do it. And even if they still don't want to believe you, at least you have that sense of satisfaction because you know you didn't do it. Don't try to be a liar just to please others. That is not right.

Leon: I think you should listen to Lara. After all, she is only trying to help you.

Lara: Look, I know you and I had some major issues in the past but I am willing to forgive and forget if you can too. After all, life is too short to keep grudges. All I know is that I want to make life a better living place for me and everyone.

Vilu: Well... your right....

Lara: So... We're friends?

Vilu: (Developed a smile) I think we've always been friends. The problem is we just didn't know...

Lara: Your right...

Vilu: So... A hug? (Smiled)

Lara: Alright. (Smiled)

Vilu: (Smiled and hugged her)

Lara: (Hugged back smiling)

Leon: (Went in to hugged them both too)

Vilu and lara: Leon....

Leon: (Slowly backed off) Alright, alright...

Vilu: Well Uhm, its getting late. Shouldn't you be getting home?

Lara: Not until Chris texts me.

Leon: Ugh, your still with that guy?

Lara: Yeah. He always tells me that he has important things to do at his house so I have to leave. When he's done with it, he'll call me back in.

Vilu: That's horrible.

Leon: Your not his put dog or anything.

Vilu: Are you not suspicious?

Lara: Why would I be?

Leon: Its obvious he's hiding something and he doesn't want you to know.

Vilu: You need to investigate.

Lara: As much as I want to, I really don't want him to think that I don't trust him. I love him.

Vilu: (Sigh)

Leon: Lara... Please do me a favor and stop feeling sympathy for that guy. He doesn't deserve it. I know what I'm talking. That guy is nothing but trouble. And if you trust me And Violetta, you'll take our word and do something about it.

Lara: I'll see what I can do. But there are no promises.

Vilu: Alright, I guess I'll see you soon?

Lara: Very soon in fact. I'll come back here if I find something More suspicious about him.

Leon: Okay, we'll keep in touch soon.

Lara: Gladly. And by the way, I'm sorry if I was disturbing you both when you were inside. I don't want to be inquisitive but did I interrupt anything important you were doing?

Vilu: Uhm... (Looked at Leon)

Leon: No, not all. Why would you think that?

Lara: Because I know how much of a flirt Leon can be when he is alone with a girl and because I heard you both talking....

Leon: (Looked at Violetta)

Vilu: Ehm, Exactly what did you hear?

Lara: I can't remember...

Vilu: Was I too loud?

Lara: Uhm...

Vilu: (Panicked) WHAT?! OH, NO, NO! I DIDN'T MEAN IT IN THAT WAY. UHM... Leon, back me up here!

Leon: You know what? It doesn't matter. You didn't interrupt anything Lara. We were just... discussing about going to Violetta's dad's house tomorrow because Its been a long time. Right Vilu?

Vilu: What?! Y- yeah. I can't wait to see my dad. I miss him...

Lara: Oh, well I'm sure he will be extremely happy to see you.

Vilu: (Brought her downstairs to the main door and opened it) Yeah... I'm sure he will be...

Leon: Alright, bye Lara. See you again.

Lara: Bye Leon! Bye Violetta. (Smiled)

Vilu: Bye! (Smiled and closed the door)

Leon: Wow...

Vilu: This is like the 5th time I'm opening the door to chase people out. They just keep coming in again and again, we don't even get our alone time together.

Leon: Yeah, great job. You exaggerated so much when she asked us what we were doing inside.

Vilu: I'm sorry okay.... I just panicked.

Leon: And about tomorrow, are we really going to your dad's house?

Vilu: Come to think of it, why not? I miss my sweet room. Shall we go pay a visit tomorrow? (Smiled)

Leon: I'm fine with it. As long as your with me, I think I'll be okay. Because I don't think I will be able to survive Olga's massive questions alone.

Vilu: (Smiled and hugged him) Yay, thank you.

Leon: (Smiled) Alright, let's go to bed. I'm literally exhausted.

Vilu: Yeah, me too. But what about the thing we were about to...

Leon: We'll continue soon. (Smiled)

Vilh: Alright.... But can you promise to not let go of me even when we're sleeping? I need to feel safe and secure in your arms.

Leon: (Smiled) Of course. Anything you want.

Vilu: (Hugged him and smiled) Thank you.
