Chapter 45: What am I going to do

The next day
At Leon's house:

Mrs Vargas: (Came) Darling, I'm so sorry about what happened.

Mr Vargas: I can't believe she chose to listen to that Chris guy or whatever his name is over you. That's pretty dumb isn't it? She should know better.

Leon: Violetta is always like this. I know her. She can be stubborn at times when she wants to. But at the end, she's always going to come running back to me. I'm always right.

Mrs Vargas: She's pretty young too. There's a lot of things she doesn't know or understand. So YOU need to be the one to guide her Leon.

Leon: How am I suppose to guide her if she's stubborn and doesn't want to listen?

Mr Vargas: Patience, my boy. Patience. For a marriage or a relationship to work, you need patience, trust and commitment. How do you think your mother and I managed to be married this far?

Leon: Its not that easy dad. Even if I do have patience, trust and commitment, there's always going to be someone to ruin our relationship for us. Its been happening for the past 3 years and I feel it is going to happen again and its going to be my fault.

Mrs Vargas: Then change it.

Mr Vargas: My boy, you can't change whatever that has happened to you both in the past, but you can change the future for the better. Its if you want to or not. Because in the end, your going to be the one who will be together with her forever. Not me or your mother.

Leon: Well..... What am I supposed to do now?

Mrs vargas: All I can say is just, you need to fight.

Leon: Fight?! As in fight with Chris?!

Mrs Vargas: No, I mean fight for her love.

Mr Vargas: Chris obviously likes Violetta and will do whatever he can to drift you both apart.

Leon: But he's with Lara...

Mr Vargas: Please. I'm wiser than you think and I know for a fact that he likes her. After all, he did interrupt you so many times when you tried to tell her you were not going to Italy. That means he wants her to think that you are going when your not. Who knows what he's been telling her about you.

Mrs Vargas: After that incident 8 years ago I literally hate that boy. The trouble's he put you through. I swear if I see his face I'm going to-

Mr Vargas: Lorraine....

Mrs Vargas: (Stayed calm)

??: (Opened the front door and scurried in) Leon, ARE YOU OKAY?

Leon: Have you ever heard of knocking Fran?

Fran: I'm sorry.... Its just that when you told me about the whole thing, I was just worried about you. I can't believe she's that stubborn and didnt even listen to what you have to say. What are you going to go now?

Leon: I don't know...

Mrs Vargas: You have to do what's right Leon.

Fran: Oh, I am so sorry Mr and Mrs Vargas. I didn't see you both.

Mrs Vargas: Its alright Darling.

Leon: (Sighed) What am I going to do...

Fran: If you want, I'll go talk to her.

Leon: No... I don't think you should. Its going to make it worse.

Fran: I think I can manage it. I have a plan.

Leon: What plan?

??: Leon?

Everyone: (Stunned)

Leon: Vilu? What are you doing here?

Vilu: Francesca called me to meet her here. And why are you here Leon? Shouldn't you, Francesca and the rest be at an airport or something? I was about to go there and say my goodbye's.

Everyone: ............

Vilu: Oh, hello Mr and Mrs.... I mean Mum and dad. I didn't see you there...

Mr Vargas: Its alright sweetie..... (Smiled)

Mrs Vargas: Uhm, Leon needs to tell you something first.

Vilu: What...?

Leon: Uhm... Violetta. You know how I said at first that I was going to Italy?

Vilu: Yeah...?

Leon: Well, I'm.....

??: (Placed his arm behind Violetta) Ah, Violetta. There you are. (Smiled)

Mrs Vargas: Christopher.....

Leon: (Furious) Chris...

Chris: (Smiled) Oh, Leon. Hi. I was just discussing with Violetta about your trip to Italy. Do you want anything before you leave? (Smirked)

Leon: Yeah... I want you to take your filthy hands of my girl.

Chris: What?

Leon: Hands OFF!

Chris: I think vilu would've told me if she wanted me to take my hands off her.

Vilu: Chris, I don't feel comfortable. Just take your hands of me...

Leon: OFF! (Folded his arms)

Chris: (Obeyed and took his hand of her)
