My name is Elissa, i'm fifteen years old and quite short. My half-long brown hair is often in front of my gray/blue eyes. I've just moved to a town called: LightCove. Today is first day after summer. The best thing with this school is: pets allowed! So my huge wolf Raven can help me thru looong school days. Raven is a raven-black wolf male. His back reaches over my waist, which makes him look scary to strangers. But if you look deep into those green eyes, you can see the puppy he really is. I say to people that Raven is a dog, so they won't be scared or panicking. "We're here." I say and point at the school. There is a place for the dogs, a place for the cats, and even a stable! When we walk to the school entry many people staring and pointing at me and Raven. Some of them are whispering too. "Is that a dog, or a monster?" I hear someone say. "Hey wolf-girl!" I turn around to see who it was, but too late. The guy who said it just threw a football at me. I try to catch it but I can't, so the football hit my head. Raven is the protecting kind of wolf, so he show his teeth and growls. Almost everyone run away, but one guy is still standing on the same spot. He run to me and reach out a hand to help me up. "Are you okay?" He asks. "I'm fine, thank you." I say, and try to brush of the dirt from my jeans. "Who was it?" I ask. "Jay, the only one here you really should avoid." He says. "Okay, thanks for the tips. And who are you?" I ask. "My name is Enlil, I can show you around the school. If you want." He says. I look at him. He is surprisingly tall, with blonde almost white hair. But what surprises me most is the eagle on his shoulder. "Is that really an eagle?" I ask. "Yes, this is Zephyr, I found him in the creek near my house a couple of years ago." Says Enlil, and pets the eagle on its head. "Wow. And I could really need someone to show me around." I say. "Okay, let's go then." Says Enlil and start walking.

When Enlil has showed me around the school, the bell starts ringing. "Okay, first lesson for the day, here I come. And thanks for showing me around." I say to Enlil, and start walking to my locker. "No problem. I hope I'll see you in some class." He says, and wave good bye. The teacher is just about to close the door when I come running. "Sorry i'm late." I say and look around in the classroom. The teacher doesn't look happy. "Find a seat." She says. I desperately look around to find a empty chair. Then I see a girl with light blue hair wave to me. "You can sit here." She says. I start walk to her, but something feels wrong. I don't now what it is. Then I can see a movement in the corner of my eye. I jump to the side, just a second before someone try to add trip on me. "Wow! The wolf-girl have pretty good reflexes." Someone say, and every one starts laughing. I swear I recognize that voice... Now I remember! It is Jay's voice, the one who threw a football at me! "I don't like to fall, so of course I jumped to the side." I say and walk to the girl. "Hi, i'm Darya. And you should be more careful around Jay." She says. "I'm Elissa, and I now that he is a jerk." I say, and both of us smile.

After class I go straight to my locker to get my books, and some food for Raven. I look at the scheme. "Okay, we got two more classes, and then this day is finally over." I say. "Do you always talk to yourself?" Some one says. I turn around and see Darya standing there. "No, not always. I usually talk with Raven." I say, and close my locker. "Who is Raven?" Darya asks. "Raven is my wo, I mean dog." I say, and hope she didn't heard that I was going to say wolf. "Is that it's lunch?" Darya asks and point at the dog food in my hand. "He is a quite big dog, so yes. This is is lunch." I say, and smile when I see how surprised Darya is. "Wow. I actually have my pet in the dog place too." Says Darya. "Do you also have a dog?" I ask. I thought Darya was a cat person, but apparently she's not. "Well you could call her a dog." Says Darya. I look at the clock. "We better hurry up if we don't wanna be late." I say, and we go to the dog place. The dog place is a big house with many rooms, that each owner can decorate as they want. There's also a big area with a white fence, where the dogs can run and play. Raven's room is the fourth from the door, to the right. "Where is your dog?" Asks Darya when I open the door to Ravens room. "You'll see. Raven, lunchtime." I say, and smile when I see a black tail stick out from the dog-tent in the left corner. "Come out now, i've got a piece of bacon with me." I say, and laugh when Raven runs out from his hiding place and pushes me down on the floor to get the bacon. "Is that your dog?!" Darya asks, and looks horrified. "Yep, this is Raven. My little puppy dog." I say and give him the bacon. "Wow! You now, when you told me you had a dog I thought it was a chihuahua. Not a gigantic wolf!" Darya says and stare on Raven, who is searching after more bacon. "Well, Raven might look big and scary. But he is just a cute, playful little puppy." I say. "How old is he?" Darya asks. "He is one year old, as I said: just a puppy." I say and pour some dog food into Ravens green bowl. "Wow, he's gonna grow a lot. Nice room by the way." Says Darya and look around. "Thanks. I wanted it to be like a forest." I say. The walls are green, with painted trees. In the right corner is a big water bowl and a food bowl. And in the left corner is a dark green tent, with oak leafs painted all over it. On the floor there is a green carpet, which looks and feels like grass. "Where is your dog?" I ask Darya. "Actually our dogs seems to be neighbors." Says Darya. When I've checked that Raven have fresh water and food, Darya and I go to her dog's room. The room is a bit smaller than Ravens room. There is a water bowl and a food bowl, there is also a little pool in the middle of the room. The walls are sky-blue, with cute clouds painted near the ceiling. "Wow, it looks almost like a bird room." I say. In one of the corners, there is a blue bacpack. "Misty, I've brought some lunch." Says Darya. "She is quite shy. And whatever you do don't get scared when you see her." Says Darya serious. "Why should I be scared?" I ask. Suddenly the backpack starts moving, and something crawls out of it. Then I understand what Darya meant with 'don't be scared'.
