Despite that I hate the fact they broke up, this ship will always be in my heart. Old Rating Infinity/10. Trust me, I also ship Gwody/Coden and Gweoff. But these two just make so much sense. But seriously, I feel like I'm one of last shippers left. Yea, Duncan cheated on Courtney and yea he became totally obsessed with making Courtney jealous. But hey, HE'S A BAD BOY FOR GOODNESS SAKE! Do people forget that! Plus, Courtney tries to CHANGE him! That's why I prefer Trentney and Scourtney. Those make more sense. I'm okay with Gwent he just got a little.....lovestruck. Is it wrong that I can imagine Duncan being sexual to Gwen?

....What was wrong with me when I was fourteen? Especially that last comment. I was not the smartest, that's for dang sure.
Anyways, I've grown up since then and I have a very different opinion about this pairing now. While I'll always have a special place for it in my heart, I can't love it the way I used to?
Why? Because of this.
If they wanted to make this couple happen, couldn't they have done it without Courtney getting cheated on? Yeah, she wasn't a great girlfriend, far from it. But the way that she sobbed after she found out was truly heartbreaking. And it doesn't help that she was somewhat going back to her TDI self, along her friendship with Gwen actually has a lot of great chemistry.
And it doesn't help how Gwen and Duncan were actually really great friends as well. They got along great and the fact that the anvil didn't fall when she very clearly said that the two of them were just friends.
Not to mention that their break-up was so anti-climatic. All he did was kiss her cheek, make a comment about making Courtney jealous, and Gwen shoves him away saying: "That's it! It's over." Duncan's reaction was basically how the audience felt.
To put it simply, they could've been great together had it not been in such an absolutely terrible way. One of the few things that pulls World Tour down as a season.
