Emma woke up with Killian's arms around her. She looked down and her back was against his front. His head was buried in her neck and his breath was tickling her neck. She felt him nuzzle his head in her hair.

"Good morning, my love. How did you sleep?" He asked, running his fingertips against her arm.

'How can he just pretend like nothing is wrong after what he said last night?' She thought. She sat up and his arms dropped onto the bed. She crossed hers over her chest and looked across the room.

"I see you're still mad. I'm sorry about what I said last night. I didn't mean it. Have you seen what you've done in this room?" He asked. Emma didn't have to look to see what he was talking about. He was referring to the narcissus flowers in the pots. "They are beautiful. The second most beautiful thing that I have ever laid my eyes on."

She turned her head to him, "what's the first? Yourself?"

He chuckled and put his hands on her arms and his mouth against her neck giving her soft kisses. "Although I am quite dashing, I am not talking about me. I'm talking about you, darling."

"Killian..." She breathed but trailed off.

"Don't think. It's okay. I love you." Her eyes shot open and she stood up and backed away from him. "What's the matter?"

She held her hand up, "no. D-don't say that."

"Don't say what? Emma?"

Seventy-Five Years Ago...

Emma was walking through the forest with Neal. He was holding her hand and they came up to a small waterfall. He stopped and looked at her. "Emma, I want to know more about you," he said, looking at her.

"Neal, I've told you everything," she lied. She was still hiding the fact that she was a Goddess. She liked having Neal around. He was an amazing friend that she started to like as more than that, but she didn't want him to be afraid of her.

"Come on. There isn't anything that you want to tell me?"

She sighed, "don't run away."

"Run away from you? How could I?" She looked down at the ground and touched it. When she removed her hand, a white gardenia came out of the ground and bloomed. She looked at Neal and his jaw was dropped. "How did you do that?" He asked.

"I am a Goddess. The one that brings you mortals life and nature."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I thought you would be afraid. I wanted a friend."

Neal took his hands in hers. "It's amazing! I love you!"

Her eyes widened, "what?"

"Emma, there is something that I have been wanting to tell you. Ever since we bumped into each other at the market, I felt something different about you. You are beautiful, and I didn't realize it until now, but I love you! Will you do me the honor of letting me court you?"

"Neal, I'd love to, but I live forever. You don't. It will never work out."

"Then lets soak up all the time we have now." He leaned in and tried to kiss her, but she backed away and placed a hand on his chest.

"I said no."

He backed away. "Usually that works."

"What?" Before Emma could process anything else, she was flat on her back with her hands pinned above her head.

"I have liked many women, Emma, and when I tell them what I "think" of them, they let me take them. They let me have them. You, you are different. If you won't give me what I want then I'll just take it for myself." He kissed her neck and jawline.
