Killian walked into Emma's apartment and saw the empty bottle on the coffee table, but didn't see her. He shut the door and a weight was added to his back. He dropped the bag of clothes on the floor and placed his hands on the wall to keep himself balanced. He heard a giggle in his ear and he knew it was just Emma.

"Hi, love," he greeted her with a smile.

She jumped down and came around to face him. She put her hands around his neck and kissed him roughly. "I missed you so much," she whispered on his lips.

"Mmm, so have I. Did you get your memories back?"

"Yeah. I also know why I took them in the first place."

"Then why?"

"I felt like you wouldn't need me. You were doing so well before you met me, and I figured that it wouldn't matter if I was there or not. I didn't want to be in your way."

"Oh, Emma. I needed you. I love you! You brought color into my boring life. In the beginning, I watched you. I would leave everyone and every duty that I had just so I could get a glimpse of your beautiful face. I made sure that I knew wherever you were so I could protect you if you were in danger. After I lost you again, and got my memories back, I tried to find you. I looked for you, and I couldn't be happier about it."

Her eyes filled with tears. He pulled her close and hugged her tightly. "Seeing you again makes today a whole lot better. I just never thought that I'd see you again. I tried to avoid you because I didn't think I could face you. I felt so bad for pushing you away. I shouldn't have left in the first place."

He chuckled and put his hands on the sides of her face. "No you shouldn't have. I told you before you left, that a King is nothing without his Queen."

Emma nodded. "All he is, is a man with a crown on his head." She grabbed his shoulders and kissed him roughly. He put his hands on her waist and pulled her close to him. He started to kiss her jawline and slowly moved to her neck. "Killian..." She whispered breathlessly.

"Hmm?" He hummed, still placing kisses on her neck.

"Bedroom." He didn't need to be told twice. He picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist as he carried her to her bedroom.

The next morning, Emma woke up to something stuck to her back. She looked down and saw Killian's arm wrapped around her waist and the blankets pulled up to her chest. She turned over and was met by two beautiful blue eyes staring into hers.

"How do you feel?" He asked.

"We waited too long. Why didn't you come and find me sooner?" She asked as she pressed her lips to his.

"Good morning, love," he whispered when she pulled away.

"What do you want for breakfast?" She ran her hands through his hair, making it even more of a mess.

"Are you an option?" He asked teasingly.

She giggled. "Not this time. I have to go to work."

"Emma....." He whined. "Just stay here and you can work with me all day." She didn't even have to look to see the smirk on his face

"Oh no, you can't do that."

"And why not?"

"Cause you and I both know that it will work. I can't have any distractions right now. I am so behind in my work so I have to get up and do my job so I don't get fired."

"Well, now that you and I are on good terms, why don't we just move in together. We can take my apartment because it's bigger, and I own the building. I don't have to pay rent."
