He stood at the front of the altar waiting for the traditional wedding music to begin. David and Mary Margaret sat in the front, with Ruby beside them. David was smiling and Ruby had tears in her eyes, but Mary Margaret had a scowl on her face. She glared at Killian and he was actually worried that she would try to stop the wedding. Even through that, he was excited to see what Emma would look like. She had obviously put a lot of work into the planning of her dress, and worked hard to make sure that he didn't see it. As the music began, everyone stood up. The doors opened and he almost fell over. She looked stunning. The dress hugged her curves perfectly. She walked slowly down the aisle, and all of his thoughts of wanting the wedding to be over vanished from his head. If he could stop this moment in time, he would. She stood next to Killian and gripped her bouquet of flowers tightly in her hand. He looked so sexy in his suit, and all she wanted to do was lead him to the bedroom and let him have his way with her.

"Before we start the ceremony, does anyone have any objections?" The minister asked.

Emma shut her eyes and waited for her mother to make an outburst. "Wait for it," she whispered to Killian.

"I do," Mary Margaret said as she stood.

Emma sighed, "there it is."

"Emma, are you absolutely sure you want to do this? Are you sure he's good for you? Do you really want to marry him?"

"Yes, Mother, and nothing you say will change my mind." She turned back to the minister. "Shall we continue then?"

"Of course, your majesty," he bowed politely.

Mary Margaret sat down and crossed her arms. Her last chance to convince Emma that Killian was no good for her, and she failed. One a certain level, she was happy that her daughter had found love and was marrying, but she never expected it to be with the Lord of the Underworld. Killian seemed so happy with her, and she with him. As she stared at the two, she couldn't help but let a small smile graze her face as she saw the warm smiles that they were exchanging to each other.

"Swan, when I first saw you, I knew you'd change everything about me. I had left my home in order to watch you and keep you safe. Wherever you went, I would follow you. I'm not proud of the way you were brought here, but I'm glad you stayed. At first, I thought fate was giving us signs that we shouldn't be together, but now I know that they were just tests. Tests to see if our love could overcome the events, and we did. After much time apart, and someone trying to hurt us, we proved to everyone that we are where we are supposed to be. You turned this dark and cold hearted God into a God that can now love. That can see the world around him in color. You changed me," Killian said. He wiped the tears off of Emma's cheeks and she smiled.

'Mine are never going to top that,' she thought, but she continued anyway. "You showed me that I didn't have anything to fear. I thought that true love didn't exist. That it was just something that people thought that they had with another person that they really liked, but all it took was meeting the right person and everything changed. I found my true love, and I couldn't be happier about it. You proved to me that I wasn't just some girl with the ability to manipulate nature. You proved to me that I am a Goddess that is needed just as much as everyone else. You took my boring life and turned it into an adventure. A life worth living. You brought me home, Killian, and I can't thank you enough."

"Do you both promise to love one another through any boundaries that you come to face, and to fight them together? To rule over your subjects without losing sight of who you both really are?" The minister asked.

Killian slipped the ring onto Emma's finger and smiled, "I do."

Emma did the same with his ring. "I do."

"Then I pronounce you both, Mr. and Mrs. Jones, Queen and King of the Underworld. You may now kiss the bride."

Killian smirked, "gladly." He grabbed her hips and pulled her closer, and placed his lips on hers.

The room erupted into applause but they continued to kiss. Emma pulled away first, and linked her arm in his, and they walked to the ballroom, where the reception was going to be held. After a few dances with Killian, her father, and a few other people, Emma sat down to take a break. Her shoes were hurting her feet, so she slipped them off to give them a break. She sat for about five minutes and then Killian decided that they should cut the cake. She slipped her shoes back on and walked to him.

He placed his hand over hers on the cutter and it easily slid through. He put it on his mental reminders list to thank the royal baker. If the cake tasted as good as it looked, then he knew that everyone wouldn't hate him for holding his and Emma's wedding in the Underworld. Emma scooped some icing onto her finger and held it in front of his mouth. As he went to suck it off her finger, she moved it and wiped it on his nose. He laughed and did the same to her. She scooped some cake up with her fork and fed it to him, him doing the same to her. Once the cake was served, Emma threw the flower bouquet, but she didn't pay attention to who caught it. She sat down next to Killian at their table and leaned her head on his shoulder.

"I'm so glad we're married, love," he said and kissed her head.

She nodded, "me too."

"I'll give you a foot massage tonight. Everyone else may be blinded, but I can tell you're in pain," he told her seriously.

"Thanks. It's just these shoes." She slipped them off her feet again and kicked her legs. "I love you, and I couldn't ask for a better day. Although, I don't think that my mother is too happy with this arrangement."

"I know she isn't, but she will be soon enough. All she wants is for her daughter to be happy. I'm not the best influence, so I don't blame her for not trusting me."

"But just because of what you control, she shouldn't judge you. If she knew how gentle, and kind you really are, we wouldn't have a problem."

Killian laughed. "Swan, she won't ever know." He smirked and Emma blushed bright red.

"I should go and talk to her." Emma slipped her shoes back on and walked over to Mary Margaret. Her mother was talking to David. "Mom, can I have a word with you?"

Mary Margaret nodded and gave her glass of wine to David. Her and Emma walked into the hallway outside of the ballroom. It was much quieter and less crowded. "What is it?" Mary asked.

"I know you don't approve of Killian. I know that you don't want me to marry him, but can you at least try to get along with him? For me? He loves me, and I love him," Emma said.

"I know I haven't been very supportive with this, it's just," she sighed, "I don't want to see my baby grow up. You getting married makes this all real. I thought you would live in Olympus with me and your father, whether you were married or not. That monster in there won't let you leave to see me. These flowers won't work forever."

"They weren't meant to. I'm happy here. I'm happy with him. Can't you just accept that?"

"No, because I don't want you happy with him." Emma's face fell. "But I'm not going to take you from the place you really want to be in. I made that mistake once, and I'm not going to do it again."

Emma smiled and wrapped her arms around her mother. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." They both pulled back. "I still expect you to visit me."

"I will," Emma promised. "We should get back in there before they start to miss us."

Both Goddesses walked back into the ballroom. Mary Margaret went back to David and Emma to Killian. She sat down at the table and he wrapped his arm around her.

"Everything okay, love?" Killian asked.

Emma smiled. "Never better." She kissed his lips sweetly and every other sound around them drowned out. As they laced their fingers together, she couldn't believe that her happy ending had finally come.

The End!!!
