on January 31st or February 1st, a bunch of children were burned alive by boko haram, a Nigerian terrorist group.

so far, at least 85 have been confirmed dead.

Boko Haram has pledged allegiance to the Islamic State — also known as ISIS or ISIL — and killed about 20,000 people and driven 2.5 million Nigerians from their homes over a six-year period.

that's how bad this situation is.

yet, I don't see any Facebook profile  filter with the Nigerian flag on it, I dint see no hashtags or anything, all I see is a few tweets and some USA Today article

what the fuck is wrong with people

I just have to ask bc I know I have written a chapter like this before
but why in hell is this not as publicized as the Paris attacks?

if this happened in somewhere like England, bro trust me there's gonna be a giant shit storm and everything, but it goes as good as silent when it happens here

why all this?

why is it that in Nigeria (and many other places) we go though such hardcore terrorism it is bad

how the fuck can people be FUCKING BURNED THE FUCK ALIVE and no one does shit?

why does Society make it seem as if one life is worth more than the next?

I have so many questions that I just can't answer, I'm just so flabbergasted

when that thing happened in Paris last year, boy was it BIG. like 200 ppl died

but over here in nigeria, people r getting killed by suicide bombers and bombs and all that everyweek

but we don't get no Facebook filter

we don't get no hashtag

we don't get no YouTube/Google logo w our flag on it

we don't get no whole-Day spécial on cnn

we dont get shit

I just can't even deal w this anymore I need a pause
