this rather offensive term, is still being used today.
it's so sickening that girls are supposed to be prim and proper, flowery, zip-lipped and so on
why?
simply because we are the lesser gender. the lesser gender is meant to shut the fuck up and obey, being all cute and daisy while doing so.
and so when a girl decides she simply doesn't have interest in the basic bs that has been assigned to her since birth, and goes in to do more fun and exciting things, or not like any "girl-associated" jewelry or clothing or whatever, she is then a tomboy.
that's not smart, that doesn't even remotely relate to common sense.
using the term tomboy gives young girls the impression that once they do not fit into the quiet and daisy box they've been thrown into, that they are some foreign type of sub-species of the female gender meanwhile they're just regular girls
stop using the word "tomboy" to make girls feel like they're some weird subcategory of females that no one likes or isn't "appealing to the male" which we do not give a fuck about either way.
