Imagine..

The late morning sun was starting to crawl its way over to the bed in the room with each passing hour you spent sleeping. The house remained quiet except for the occasional movement coming from Liz in the kitchen and the soft snoring coming from behind you. There laying beside you was a very tired Luke whose mouth was partly opened, hair swooshed in different directions and his arms wrapped lazily around you. You're eyes slowly started to open and the first thing your eyes noticed was the pale white light coming from the window.

You had been in England for proximately 12 hours and had no clue what snow was or looked like. Luke had sent you pictures of what it looked like and how it felt and everything but it still didn't prepare you for the real thing. At least not mentally, in your suitcase there were several sweaters, hats, gloves and pretty much everything you could think of to keep you warm. Being the sweet guy he is, Luke surprised you on christmas with plane tickets to England. The whole album creating process had you both on different continents and you feeling lonely most of the time. But for a whole month he was yours and your own personal tour guide of this new place.

After staring at the white canvas and your eyes finally adjusting to the bright new light, you finally turned slowly to face Luke. He was still sound asleep, as if he was the one who had traveled for 17 hours. The sun from behind you was starting to reflect off his lip piercing and his golden hair. Its been so long since you've been able to lay with him and just feel him next to you. Lately the only way you see him is with a screen and a thousand miles separating you.

Almost as soon as you started staring at him he started to wake up. When his perfect blue eyes started to flutter open a slightly smug grin spread across his face. He'd never admit it to anyone else but waking up next to you was probably his favorite part of the day. And today was even more special because of the time spent apart.

"Morning.." You barely whispered as he started to become more and more conscious. As if you'd ruin the moment somehow if you spoke too loud.

"Mmm morning love" He muttered back in his raspy morning voice. The one that made you melt into a puddle. He pulled you closer to him and pressed a few round of kisses to your lips.

After laying there for a few more minutes, you both got up and sulked to the living room. Michael was already up and battling some poor kid through a video game and Calum was hiding in his black hoodie as he scrolled through twitter on his phone. Liz was in the kitchen already half way through making breakfast for everyone. since no one had to be in the studio for a couple of days she decided to make the boys a proper breakfast. Athough she was really just doing it because you were here and wanted you to feel welcome although she would never tell you that.

After saying hello to everyone and Ashton was finally out of the shower, you all sat around the tv and ate the breakfast Liz had made. All while watching Michael beat up some random video game character which of course involved him actually yelling at the screen. A part from the snow outside, the morning was pretty normal and nothing seemed to have changed since the big move.

After breakfast Luke told you he had something fun planned for the two of you and it being your first experience in the snow. Whenever Luke said he had something planned it always got you a little anxious. It always had something to do with trying something new. Whether it was surfing which he found out he cannot do or something where one of you get hurt.

Wth the slightest regret of agreeing to go, you took a shower in the tiny bathroom and changed into thick back leggings, a sweater, thick socks and dr martens. since it wasn't currently snowing you ditch the gloves and beanie knowing you would probably regret it as soon as you got outside. All Luke did was throw on another band shirt, black jeans, a gray beanie, a black jacket and swooped his hair to one side. As you both were ready he took your uncovered hands in his and intertwined his long fingers with yours. everyone else still in a zombie state after just waking up. On the way out he grabbed something that looked like a bigger, clunkier version of a surf board. It was red and made out of plastic and could easily fit the both of you. With the feeling of regret growing a little more you followed Luke.
