All that is left to bring you pain, are the memories. If you face those, you'll be free.― J.D. Stroube

Chapter 13 - Fixing the Past

"Give me a sec. I left something in the classroom." Joel turns to head back down the hall. "I'll just be a minute. Do you want to meet me at the truck?"

"Yeah, I'll see you in a minute."

"Reminder: Ask Joel for the keys next time." I tell myself as I place my bag behind the cab and wait. The tailgate comes down easily and I prepare a place to sit and wait. The sound of feet and car doors shutting are all gone now, and it looks like only a few vehicles are left. "Joel, what is taking so long?" I wish he were here to answer.

My purse serves as my pillow as I stretch out in the late afternoon sun. I watch the effects of the wind build and destroy the shapes I imagine in the clouds. It's peaceful here, it may be a parking lot, but it is peaceful. The sound of feet approaching the vehicle breaks my concentration, and I turn to the side preparing to get up.

Two very large arms immediately secure my legs, and I begin to flail and struggle to get loose. My struggling only serves as a chance for my attacker to restrain me with his legs before grabbing my arms tight against my body. The crushing feeling makes me cry out, but there is no one here to hear me.

"Long time no see, Addy. I've missed you." The voice was is hot and heavy against my ear, but it sends a cold chill through my body. I am utterly struck with fear, and all of my months of Joel's preparations are forgotten. I only remember I have to scream for help. Telling someone explicitly what I need .

As soon as the screams leave my mouth, I'm thrown to the ground and kicked hard in my stomach, making me double in pain. "I don't want to have to hurt you. Can't we just go back to the way it used to be?" Large hands clasp my hair and I am pulled back with such force that my body must follow. Struggling to wrench my hair from his hand and my body from his grasp, I am dragged to the side of the parking deck entrance at the south end of the lot. "We have a lot of lost time to make up for."

My head snaps back as it contacts the doorframe sending searing pain down my right side, and Connor turns me around by my hair to look me in the face. His icy blue eyes sends shivers down my spine as he leans his body into mine. "Did you miss me as much as I missed you?" His large callused hand digs into my soft part of my cheek as he presses the palm roughly against my mouth. He begins to nod my head 'yes' for me, as I try to open my mouth to bite him.

"Uh, uh, uh, little girl. We'll have none of that." His cold voice laughs at my attempts to free myself. My eyesight grays and shock from the assault takes over my body. "You're supposed to be in jail." I mutter as he moves his hand away from my mouth and clenches my neck. The back of his hand contacts my left cheek with such force that the brick wall scrapes my right cheek before I fall to the ground.

"Why did you tell them so many lies? You know that we are meant to be together. Why do you fight it so much?"

My body stills and begins to shut down as he begins to strip me of my clothes. One hand holds my wrists together as his other hand tears off my underwear and his fingers invade my body. "You still want me after all this time," he moans and he rubs himself against my leg to let me feel the hardness of his body.

His fingers dig deeper inside me, "You saved yourself for me. Thank you Addy. I knew that you would," he grunts in my ear. The gray is turning black, as he lowers himself onto my body and the last thing I feel is his full invasion as he rips away my virginity.
