He put me in his car which I didn't even know was a convertible until the top started to open up and fold back. I couldn't help but grin. It was my first time in a convertible! Alex looked at me and smirked.

“You are a very devious man, Alex.” I laughed to him as we pulled out of the parking lot.

He turned up the music a little bit and zoomed on to the road. I held on for dear life hoping I wouldn't be tossed out of the car. It was so much open space. It was weird, but fun!

“You've got a seat belt on, honey. You aren't going to go anywhere.” Alex laughed at my death grip on the dash.

“Oh right.” I laughed a bit embarrassed at how well he could still read me.

“On this next turn throw your hands up. I promise you will love it.” He said.

And he was right. I did. It was such a free feeling. For a moment I almost forgot where I was.

Alex looked in his rear view mirror and chuckled.

“What?” I asked.

“Your boyfriend looks red as a tomato.”

I turned in my seat and saw Tom looking very flushed in the face.

Still jealous..

I grinned at this, which I know was terribly mean, but I couldn't help it. At the same time though... I grew angry... These mixed signals were so confusing. I just shrugged it off and threw a hand up waving. I wasn't going to be the Debbie Downer of the night.

The only one to wave back was Andi who was sitting in the passenger seat.

She leaned out of the window a bit a hollered to me.

“How is it?!”

“AMAZING!” I grinned.

We soon pulled up to a concrete path and than into a lot that was filled with just a few other cars.

“Did you have fun?” Alex asked.

“Yes! WOW! I didn't know that one could feel so great just in a car!... NO KINKY THOUGHT ALEX!” I laughed “Although, I'm sure my hair looks a total wreck now.”

“You look beautiful.” Alex said.

I blushed a bit as I pulled the hairband out of my hair and let the locks fall fully around my face.

I looked to Alex and saw him smiling warmly at me. I blushed more.

“What?”

“You're blushing.” He teased.

“Am not!” I pouted.

“Still as terrible of a liar as you were back then, sweeite.” Alex said pinching my cheeks teasingly.

I stuck my tongue out at him.

Then someone cleared their throat behind me.

“Hope we aren't interrupting anything, sweetie.” Tom's voice came.

“Actually,” Alex said stretching and putting an arm around my shoulders.

I whacked him in the chest and he laughed.

“Alright, alright.” He said putting the hood to his car up and than hopping out.

We walked over to the hosting spot and they showed us over to a fire pit. Thankfully it wasn't a pay right away thing (seeing as your bill is the amount of time the fire pit is in use) so there was no bill fighting... for the time being.
