chapter twenty-six

He shrugged “Obviously, cause I needed to talk with you.”

Just like my dream all over again... all though, I highly doubted it was end in such a... lustful manor.

“I already know.” I said now taking interest in my hands.

“You do?” He asked a bit hopeful.

“Yeah, and I understand... Everything earlier... just the heat of the moment.”

“No I don't think yo-”

“Tom, I've got it. I know you wouldn't wanna hurt anyone you care about.”

“What? Delilah, I think yo-”

“Miss. De Partolo! It's so nice to see you awake.” The doctor said coming in.

Jackie smiled and waved from the door. I glared.

“If you'll excuse us young man. I just need to check a few things. The sooner they get done the sooner Miss. De Partolo can be right at home in her own home.” He smiled.

Tom got up and left looking a bit flustered, but why wouldn't he? It's hard to come to terms with things... It was even hard for me. As much as I wish we could've went at it like in my dream... I had come to my senses and I had full control over my body so I was definitely not going to hurt Andi so willingly like that...

The doctor asked me a couple of questions as to test my memory and thinking and all that wonderful stuff. He instructed me on my bandage change and said a nurse would be right with me to get me all set up to leave. He told me to take it easy and said if I were to start feeling the least bit vertigo to report back to him a.s.a.p. He left me with a warning as to not going playing by the tide pools again. I turned red in the face when he gave me a lollipop as he told me. How much of a child did those girls make me seem to him? I shuddered to think.

The nurse brought in my clothing and left for me to change. It was the same clothing I had left in three night ago. I saw the blood stains on my new favorite hoodie Alex had given me and sighed heavily.

“They couldn't even bring me any clean clothes.” I said as I tugged on the clothing.

I was just hopping into my pants when the door opened and Alex came bustling in. I was stunned and fell over in the cause.

“Al! What the hell! Get ouuuuut!” I whined pulling the itchy wool blanket from the hospital bed.

“Oh, please. It's nothing I haven't seen before.” He teased.

“Hey now! I was drunk that night! It doesn't count!” I pouted.

He threw a hand over his heart as if I had just wounded him pride.

“Your words break a person's soul.” He said dramatically.

“You'll mend yourself, I'm sure.” I said plainly giving up on him leaving and going back to dressing myself. “I thought you were at work?”

“I was, but as soon as I caught wind of my wittle wove being awaken from her sleep I rushed here as fast as I could.” He said now crushing my face to his chest.

“Oh the chivalry.” I teased pulling away.

“Yes, I'm only disappointed it was not I to be the one to wake the Sleeping Beauty from her slumber.” He sighed.

Waking me from my slumber? What did wake me up?.... Oh yeah....

I could feel my face flushing.

“Oh, what's this? Why are you blushing! Dish the details! What happened when I was gone!” He demanded hopping on the bed like a giddy gossip girl.

No way I was telling him about that mondo lustful dream I had. Nope.

“You mean besides everyone plowing in and teaming up against me to get Tom and I alone?.. mm... nothin' much.” I laughed as I laced up my boots loosely around my ankles.

“I miss out on all the fun.” He pouted hopping off the bed. “Welp, let's get goin'.”

“What? What about the others?” I said as he took hold of my wrist leading me out the door.

“They left.” He said as he continued walking.

“What?!”

Why would they leave me in the hospital like that! Right as I was about to be checked out!

“Yeah, I told them I was taking you out to eat, so they headed home.” He shrugged.

“Hey!” A voice called behind us.

“Oh yeah... Tom's coming along too.” Alex tried to say this as monotony as possible, but his eyes held everything I needed to know about this being an evil scheme he had concocted.

This is a little tease for ya'll.

I've got more, but i'm still tweaking it.

I'll upload soon.

I know ya'll like it, but I don't like feeling rushed in my writing.

And right now i'm going through a bit of... a hard time.

I really shouldn't have to have a reason for taking my time in my writing, but it seems it's needed.

I never quit my stories, so please don't worry about it not getting finished.

I'll try putting more out gradually during the week.

You know... my other stories are a tad lonely.

They may not be Tom related, but i'm sure you can use your imagination to change that.

I promise that though they aren't Tom related they are good. Or at least I hope there are.

Everyone here seems to like them sooo. Yeah.
