As I stumbled into my house, still gasping for air, I called the first person I could think of.

"Hello?"

"Can you come over?" I tried calming myself but failed miserably.

"I'll be right there."

I hung up and told everyone to get out as I made my way upstairs. I changed into a long t-shirt and crawled into bed.

Tears streamed down my face as I could still feel his hands around my neck. The thought of him hurting me haunted my brain and I couldn't help but cry.

5 minutes later my phone rang. I looked at the caller id, hitting decline when I realized who it was. I had no reason or excuse to talk to him now, or ever.

I set my phone down, slowly drifting off to sleep.

*sam's pov*

"Hello?" I spoke into the phone.

"Can you come over?" Quiet sobs left her mouth.

"I'll be right there." I frantically hung up the phone.

I slid some joggers on with a white t-shirt. I ran down the stairs not caring to make my bed.

I grabbed my keys and jumped into my car, starting it and backing out of the driveway. I sped down the road, making my way to her house.

*sarah's pov*

My eyes fluttered open as someone lightly shook me.

"Hi." I smiled, stretching.

"Hey." He let go of me.

"What time is it?" I reached over to my bedside lamp, switching it on.

"3." He laid next to me, pulling me to him, my body now flush against him.

"Oh. I'm sorry for asking you to come so late." I looked at him.

"It's ok baby girl. What's wrong?" He wrapped his arm around me.

"Stuff with Jack." I sighed, shaking my head slightly.

"Anything you want to talk about?"

I shook my head no.

"Everything will get better." He rubbed my arm.

"I don't think it will." I thought to myself. I shrugged, telling him I agreed, not wanting to be questioned any further.

I flipped over so I was facing him. I looked up at him and just stared into his eyes.

"What?" He chuckled.

"Nothing. Goodnight." I smiled, pecking his lips quickly, nuzzling my head into his chest.

His hand went to my hair, soothingly playing with it. Before I knew it everything went dark and I was sound asleep.

*ten hours later*

My phone rang next to me, waking me from my slumber.

"Hello?" My morning voice rang through the line.

"Hi sweetie. I was just calling to check on you. How are you?"

"Hi mom. I'm good. Still sleeping so if you don't mind-."

"I'm sorry. Call me later. I love you, bye." She hung up without letting me respond.

I placed the phone back onto the stand, about to drift off to sleep again. I realized I couldn't so I decided to get up.
