"Mom! Hurry up. You're going to be late. I have to go, I'll meet you there." I called to my mom.

I had just spent, literally, the whole day with Amanda and Kelcey. We are now on our way to the airport.

I was in the back seat, Kelcey was driving, and Amanda was in the passenger seat.

"I'm stressing." I confessed.

"Don't. You'll be fine." Amanda cooed.

"Hurry, bring up something to get my mind off of this." I rushed.

"Um, what happened yesterday?" Kelcey frantically spoke, obviously not thinking about the words coming out of her mouth.

"Duh Kelc. I don't need something that will stress me out even more."

We all laughed.

"Music?"

"Please." I rubbed my temples.

"Mark My Words" by Justin Bieber came on.

"Change it, now." Not to be a bitch, but this song always makes me cry, and frankly, I didn't feel like crying today. Even though it's bound to happen.

"I'll Show You" came on.

"Change." I demanded.

"Life is Worth Living" blasted through the speakers. The song automatically changed.

"Purpose" and "Children" also came on. Changed.

Finally an acceptable one came on.

"No sense". Yes, I understand it's practically the same thing as "Purpose" and probably more but it was strangely acceptable.

The ride to the airport was about an hour. We mostly talked and listened to music.

We had finally arrived and now it was time for the painful goodbyes.

Kelcey popped the trunk as I got out of the car. I lifted the hood and grabbed my bag, pulling it out and shutting it.

They both got out of the car as I tried to stabilize my luggage. Amanda wrapped her arms around me and Kelcey followed.

Tears brimmed my lids as I hugged them back, squeezing as hard as I could.

Two cars pulled up next to us. Sam and my mom stepped out and walked towards us.

My mom wrapped me into her soft embrace while her salty tears soaked my shirt. Quiet sobs left her mouth as I rubbed her back in a soothing way.

She finally let go, wiping her face in the process. She smiled sadly at me. I tilted my head, wiping a tear that had escaped her other eye. She laughed lightly, holding my hand on her cheek.

She stepped back as Sam came into view. I smiled at him and waved my finger for him to come to me. He sauntered over and slung his arms onto my shoulders.

He looked down at me and lowered his head, kissing my plump lips softly. I kissed back, lifting my hand and moving it behind his neck to deepen the kiss.
