After about 30 minutes and no sign that Jack was still here, I got up and got dressed.

Deja had texted me about 15 minutes ago saying that I needed to pick her up because her friend had to go see her grandma.

I went downstairs to see Jack watching tv. Why is this boy still here?

I went over to the counter, like I always do, and grabbed my purse. I headed towards the door, but was interrupted by Jack.

"Where are you going?" He stood from the couch walking towards me.

"To pick up my sister." I rolled my eyes. I continued out of the door, unlocking my car door. I got in, started the car, and drove in the direction of Deja.

I have way too much on my mind right now.

*jack's pov*

So Sarah just left me here by myself. I didn't know what to do so I just went home.

I don't know why she's mad at me. I don't even know why I was mad at her. I guess I'm just sexually frustrated and I took it out on her. I totally understand that she doesn't want to ruin our friendship.

But I want more than "just friends". I want to do more. I want to feel her inside. I want her to be mine, but not mine at the same time. I want to be inside of that beautiful, untouched body.

We're going to need to talk when she comes back to daddy.

*sarah's pov*

"Did you have fun kiddo?" I briefly looked over at Deja who was staring out of the window.

"Yea. I had a lot of fun. We mostly did challenges the whole time, and when we weren't doing that we were on our phones or sleeping." She started laughing.

"That's great." I loved it when she was happy.

"How's everything at home?" She asked.

I was debating on telling her what happened between me and Jack, only because I tell her everything, but I was going to wait.

"Everything is good." I kept my eyes on the road.

"Oh." She bluntly replied.

There was silence for a couple minutes.

"Is, um, is dad home?" She looked over at me, waiting for my response.

"No." I let out a deep sigh.

"Are they getting a divorce?" Tears started forming in her eyes.

"I don't know." I reached over and grabbed her hand.

We arrived at home shortly.

"Hey, do you want to go swimming?" Deja asked enthusiastically.

"Yea, I'll be right there." I walked over and put my purse on the couch.

Jack had left. I don't know when, but he did. Deja ran up the stairs and got her bathing on. She practically came sprinting down the stairs and out the back door to the pool.

I lightly laughed to myself and walked upstairs to put my black bathing suit on. I walked back down the stairs and over to the counter where I grabbed my phone and headed outside.

I opened the door, but turned around and walked to the room where the washer and dryer were to grab two towels.

I headed back outside and walked to the two beach chairs beside the pool. Deja was already in, swimming around.

"Come on in. The water feels good." I wanted to mostly tan, but if it made her happy, why the hell not?

I walked to the stairs, entering the pool. Deja swam towards me with a smug look on her face.

"Don't you dare." I glared at her.

"What?" She asked smiling.

"You know exactly what. I won't get in if you splash me." I pointed my index finger at her.

"Ok ok. Come on." She backed up.

I walked all the way in and dropped down so my shoulders were covered by water.

I turned around to throw my sunglasses onto the chair. I looked back towards Deja, but she was gone.

There was a sudden splash behind me, wetting my hair.

"Deja!" I screamed, not furious but playful.

She started laughing. Her laugh was contagious so I ended up laughing.

I splashed her back and it became a splash war. We both froze when Jack walked through the back door, out of breath and looking like he just saw a ghost.

"What. Happened?" He said out of breath.

"I splashed her." Deja said giggling.

"Yea, and I splashed her back." I turned looking at her.

"Oh. I thought something was wrong." He sauntered over to the beach chair by mine.

"Well you were wrong." I glared at him.

He defensively put his hands in the air. Why is he still here?

"Look. Sarah. I'm sorry." He pleaded.

"Like I said Jack, save it." I got out walking to the connected jacuzzi.

"Please just listen Sarah." He begged.

The whole time Deja just watched.

"Like you said, there's nothing to talk about." I quoted him and emphasized you.

"Why do you have to be so difficult?! He raised his voice.

"I wanted to talk about this last night, but you didn't want to. So now, I'm not in the mood to talk about it." I pointed an accusing finger at him.

"Sarah-" I immediately cut him off.

"Can we not talk about this in front of my sister?" I glared at him.

"Whatever." He stormed out of the backyard. He's such a child.

He shouldn't have come over here in the first place. There was no reason for it. He's really stupid if he thinks that we're going to talk about this in front of my little sister. He needs to realize that he did this. Not me.

I stopped it because I didn't want it to ruin our friendship, but clearly, that didn't work. He makes me so mad. He had absolutely no reason to get mad in the first place. He overreacts way too much and it's getting tiring just having to put up with it. He's such a bitch when it comes to drama.

We have definitely had our ups and downs and I strongly believe that we will get through this. Just not now, I guess.

"Is everything alright?" Deja snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Everything's fine Dej." Everything's fine.
