Raelynn

Another day.

Another long boring day.

Harry is still becoming more an asshole to me. He's been down here a lot claiming that he's just trying to see if we are actually working. I've been threatened to get fired about 89 times since I've got moved down here.

Today I have to attend a meeting he demanded for everyone in my floor to go to.

I was making to the commons for the meeting. Sadly Harry was in there and I was early.

I mentally cursed myself as walked to take seat at the far end of the table.

His assistant was standing beside him watching me with a cold look. She leaned down and tried to kiss him but he moved away and telling her to leave.

Even though I didn't like her I wanted her to stay, I didn't want to be alone with him. I knew he was just gonna insult me.

It was quite for awhile only the sound of him shuffling papers. He grunted and looked at him. His emerald green eyes taunting me, he studied me as if I was a history book. I tried my best to avoid his eyes.

"Why so far away?" He smirked, "You sit beside me."

I shook my head, "I'm fine, thank you." I said lowly.

"It wasn't a question." He snapped.

I sighed and got up slowly collecting my things and moved to the seat that was aside him.

Twenty minutes later everyone was beginning to file into the room taking their seats and organizing their pens and papers.

Harry cleared his throat, everyone grew silent and all attention was on him.

"So as everyone I have noticed I've been coming to your floor a bit more often. I've come to find that some of you do not work at all." He took a long pause.

"Matt, Sabrina, Liz, Izzy, Jonathan, Gus, and Rebecca. You're fired."

I gasped, that was half of the people that worked on the west wing of my floor.

"Caleb, Phillip, Kendra, Daniella, Keith, Bonnie, John, Albert, Linda, and Brady. You're fired."

"Raelynn, can I see after everyone leaves?" I sighed and nodded. "Ok, meeting dismissed."

Everyone gathered their things and left the people who had been fired left the things because Harry's assistant had to take them.

"Raelynn, let's go." He stood up and walked to the door. "I'm taking you somewhere better to talk."

My heart was pounding, I was scared. I hadn't been alone in a car with Harry since that night. Frankly, I wanted to keep it that way but I had no choice and I knew that I'd lose my job if I said no.

Most of the time I've been working here I've been reminding myself that I'm doing this for my mom and a car.

Moments later, I find myself following Harry to his car, him holding the door open to his white Lamborghini.

Mumbling a thank you and sliding into the limited space. I couldn't keep still, I was nervous, for all I know he could be taking me somewhere to beat me up or kill me.

I was praying that we were going somewhere that was very very public.

The drive wasn't long and we pulled up to a fancy looking restaurant.

The hostess saw Harry and immediately grabbed menus and showed us to a table.

We took our seats and he got straight to business.

"Raelynn," he sighed, in my mind I was panicking and screaming for this not to be where he fired me. "I know I've been hard on you and being really mean to you. It's my way of coping, I like you a lot and I'm not good for you and I know it."

I sat there, I thought my ears had been deceiving me, I couldn't believe that this was happening. The Harry Styles is telling me he likes me, the same guy that out his hands on me, my boss, the person I despise but like the most.

"I don't know how many times I'll tell you I'm sorry for what happened but I'm telling you now it won't happen again." He reached for my hand, his eyes holding a guilty and pained look. The same look they had when he was telling me to leave. "Can we start over?"
