I was walking down the hall back to math when Mrs. Jones called my name. I turned to see her and a boy with dreads. "Yes" I asked. "This is Lucky Miller. Today is his first day here. I was going to ask if you can show him around school. You both have all the same classes and you both are new" she said. "Sure"I said and she walked away. "I'm Clover" I said putting my hand out. "That is a beautiful name for a beautiful young lady" he said shaking my hand. His voice was so deep and sexy I had a puddle in my pantries right now. "Thank you" I said smiling. "Do you have a boyfriend" he asked. "No. You are moving a little fast here huh" I said. "I see something I want" he said following me back to class. We walked in the class and Lucky handed the teacher a letter. He nodded and told Lucky to sit. Lucky came and sat beside. The teacher finished the problem he was working on and the bell rung. After gym we went to lunch Lucky and I talked about everything. He told me how he just moved here because his mom's job relocated her. I told him about Loyalty and how I was homeless. Once we got our lunch we sat at the table with my friends. "Who is this Clover" Amber asked. "Her new friend Lucky" Ashton said. "Ashton are you jealous" I asked. "Of what" he asked. "You're jealous because Clover is spending more time with Lucky than with you" Amber said. "Shut up Amber" he said. "So where you from" Jacob asked. "California" Lucky said. "Really did you meet Beyoncé" Amber asked. "Amber you're dumb" I laughed. "I did meet J Cole when I moved to Georgia" Lucky said. "Really that is so cool. I love all his songs. I heard he lives here" Amber said. "I met J Cole before. His kids are my little brother and sister" I said. "Why are you just now telling us" Jacob asked. "I didn't think he was that important" I said. The bell rung and Lucky Amber and I went to Choreograph.

After school Lucky, Amber and I went to go get Loyalty. Amber carried her while Lucky carried her bag. "You have a beautiful baby" Lucky said. "Thanks. Are you coming to meet my dad" I asked. "Of course" he said. We walked over to where Jason was texting on his phone. "Hey pops" I said making him look up. "Hey baby. Hey Loyalty. Hey Amber. Hey Ashton" he said. "That's not Ashton. This is my new friend Lucky" I said. "Oh I'm sorry how you doing son" he said. "I'm good. How are you" Lucky said. "I'm good" Jason said. Amber handed Loyalty to Lucky and ran to a car. "You can put her in the back" I said. He put her in the car seat and shut the door. We hugged for a while and he slid my phone out of my back pocket. He typed away and handed it back. He hugged me again. "Bye beautiful" he said before letting go. He opened my door for me and I slid in. "Bye" I said before he closed the door. Jason started up the car and drove off.

"Y'all are so cute" he said like a girl. "We are just friends" I said. "Wait until I tell Paris. She is going to freak" he said pulling out his phone.
