I woke up to Lo playing with my face. "Happy Birthday mommas" I said sitting up. My phone started ringing and Loyalty answered it. Justin was calling on FaceTime. "Hey Loyalty" he said as he stood outside somewhere . "Hi" she screamed. "Happy Birthday" he said and she started clapping. I went to the bathroom and freshened up while they talked on the phone. When I walked out someone was knocking on the door and Justin had hung up. Paris and the kids were staying at Chris's house since she is on bedrest. Loyalty was locking my phone up so I took it from her and took her to answer the door. I opened the door to see Destin and Justin. "Hey guys. What are y'all doing here" I asked. "We came for the party" Justin said. "We came to take Lo out for her birthday" Destin said. He had a bag in his hand as Justin drug a rolling backpack in.
Destin pulled out some breakfast from Waffle House. We ate as we watched tv and joked around. "Alright we got an outfit for Loyalty to wear. Justin give her the outfit" Destin said. Justin walked to the bag and clapped his hands before he opened it. He pulled out an outfit and some shoes. "Here you are ma'am" Justin said. I grabbed the outfit and examined it. "This is cute guys" I said. "Thanks" they both said brushing their shoulders. "Yea he's your son" I said grabbing Lo. I quickly went to get her dressed so she could go back downstairs. She had on a first birthday outfit that was really cute. I put her hair in a ponytail and sent her to Destin. I let her walk around while I got dressed. I put on my black and yellow shirt with my overall shorts. Then I had to dig in my closet for my black and yellow Nike shoes.
I went downstairs and they were getting ready to go so I grabbed Loyalty's bag and followed them. We got in the car and they drove to a place called Monkey Joe's. "What the heck is this" I asked. "Come on" Destin said. "Yay" Justin said. "Yay" Loyalty screamed as Destin grabbed her out. I got Justin out and he ran to the door. "Justin" Destin yelled. Justin swung the door opened and ran in. Destin held the door open for me and grabbed Justin. "Calm your little ass down. It is not your birthday. Stop showing out" he said as he jacked him up. Justin started crying as Destin walked away. I let Justin cry on my leg as I side hugged him. "Don't baby him" Destin said pulling Justin away. Destin pulled out his phone and started recording on Snapchat. He opened the door and everyone yelled happy Birthday. Loyalty's face was so priceless. She started clapping and jumping in Destin's arm.
Everybody was there. "How did you go this" I asked Destin. "I took your phone at Chuck E. Cheese" he said and walked in. I saw all my friends from school, Paris, Chris, Jason, and everybody else that I pretty much know. Then there were some random people that I didn't know. "All the kids can go play now" Destin said before all the kids flew pass. Destin grabbed my hand and pulled me to the group of random people. "Clover this is my mom, my sister Stacy, her kids, my sister Toya, her kids, my brother Derrick, and my best friends Bobby and Angel. Everybody this is my girl Clover and her baby Loyalty" he said. "Girl" I questioned. "What? Destin James has a girl. This must be a fucking miracle" his momma said. "You have never had a girlfriend" Toya said. "And you dang sure ain't bring her home to momma" Stacy said. "Alright lets go to the party Lo" Destin said pulling us away. I took a picture of Loyalty acting silly.

She pointed at the door signaling she wanted to go jump. So I put her down and she ran out of the door. "London can you watch her" I yelled to London. "Okay" she yelled back. I went to talk to my friends from school. "Hey guys thanks for coming" I said. "Of course. We haven't seen you since graduation" Ashton said. They all gave me a hug as Destin came over. "Clover you didn't tell us you had a boyfriend" Amber said. "My name is Destin" he said shaking everyone's hand. "Clover" London yelled. I excused myself and went to go see what she wanted. "She bit me and she keeps running" London said. "Thank you London" I said grabbing Loyalty's hand. "Lo you don't bite people" I said and she started crying. "Leave my baby alone" Destin said picking her up and walking away. "Don't baby her" I said mocking him. She started reaching for Paris so he gave her to Paris. Then he pulled me to a jumpy house. "Come on" he said and we got in.
We were all jumping around and playing when the bell went off signaling that someone was here. I looked at the door to see none other than Lucky. "Oh no" I whispered. "What's wrong" Destin asked behind me. "You invited my ex" I said getting out. He followed me as I walked up to Lucky. "Hey. Where is Loyalty" Lucky asked. "She's taking a nap" I said. "Who takes a nap at their own party" he laughed. I just looked at him. "I'll take the gift" Destin said and Lucky handed him the gift bag. "Now come on. Let the man into the party baby" Destin said grabbing my hand and leading me to the room. "Really" I asked once we got to the table. "I got you baby girl" he said pulling me close and kissing my forehead making me blush. I looked at Lucky as he looked at me from the door then walked to Ashton.
"Baby" Destin called. I turned as he walked towards me on his phone. He pulled me into a hug and started a video on Snapchat. "I just want to let the world know that I found me a girl. So all y'all hoes back up" he said kissing my forehead. "This is my baby. I know we haven't known each other that long but I feel like I know you so well. Like God tapped me on my shoulder and said 'Des. That's all you son'. So fuck all y'all and what y'all got to say" he said. He looked at me and this time I kissed him on the lips. We both looked at the camera and stuck our tongues out before he ended the video. "Y'all cute" Destin's best friend Angel said. "Thanks" Destin said. "Your mom wants to talk" she said. He nodded and we followed her. I noticed Loyalty had woken up and went to play.
"Yes ma'am" he said. "Y'all sit down" she said. "Momma please don't be extra at this kids birthday party" he said as he pulled a chair up for me. "Shut up boy" she said. "So Clover How old are you" she asked. "I'm 17 years old" I said already not liking where the conversation was going. "Who is your mom" she asked. "Alright So Paris adopted me almost a year ago. My mom and dad were killed when Loyalty was born. My parents also were sick people. They let people pay to have sex with me. That's how Loyalty came along. I am not a hoe and I haven't been out here having sex with everybody and their dad willingly. I graduated from high school despite all that bullshit. Now if you would excuse me I have to go tend to my child" I said politely and got up. I yelled out the door to the kids to come eat and they all cane running. I sat the hot dogs and hamburgers in front of them as Chris handed out chips. I put Loyalty's bib on and handed her a hotdog. The bell went off at the door so I peeked my head out. "Hey J" I yelled. J Cole walked in and I gave him a hug. "Daddy" Jasmine and Landon yelled. "Hey babies. Eat your food" he said. He walked over to Lo and picked her up. I noticed Destin's family staring with their mouths opened. "Happy Birthday Lo" he said and she screamed. He handed her a fake hundred and sat her down. Then he put a card on the gift table.
As everyone ate and conversed Destin pulled me away. "You okay" he asked. "I'm fine" I said. "I'm sorry about my mom" he said grabbing my hand. "It's whatever. Look I've been down the road of mom not liking me with Lucky and it didn't turn out pretty. I'm not sure if I want to go through that again" I said pulling my hand away. "Clover fuck what she got to say. I'm grown. If I want you I'm going to have you no matter what anybody got to say, my momma included. Just like I said in the video. You mine now and you can't get rid of me. I know it sound gay as fuck but when you kissed me earlier I felt the sparks. I like sparks and I like you" he said winking at me and grabbing my hand. I knew I was blushing like crazy. He looked at me for a minute then kissed me.
